I absolutely love Dr. Laurie Scotton at Southeast Community Animal Hospital. She has the best bedside manner, and is very thorough at explaining procedures, antibiotics, and plans of action. She furthers her education by attending continuing, education seminars, so she is current on the latest scientific studies for animals. She applies evidence based practice and doesn't just strictly go off of the training she received during veterinary school, because best practice changes over time. This animal hospital is conveniently located, has an inviting atmosphere, and the hours work for my schedule.

I drove from Salisbury to Pleasant Garden to take my dog and Cats to these Vets. I have been taking my pets there for over 20 years. They have kept many of my pets alive. I had one Cat that lived to 21.

I have been taking my dogs to this clinic for over a year and have been very satisfied with their treatment and service. The staff has been helpful and kind. Successful surgery experience as well.

I used to use this Vet about 7 or 8 years ago and they almost killed my dog. My mom took her dog to them a couple of weeks ago and they couldn't figure out what was wrong with her. Wanted charge an astronomical amount of money for tests so she went elsewhere. She. No one could figure it out and the dog was in a lot of pain and older, mom went back to this Vet to have her put down bc they were so close by. The Vet was rude and wouldn't stop telling my mom that she thought she could fix the dog and she shouldn't put her down. This dog was my moms baby so to get to that poi t was hard for her and the Vet wouldn't stop even when mom told her that all of the test she was suggesting had been run by the other Vet. She finally puts the dog down and still wouldn't stop hounding my mom about it!!! Mind you my mom is weeping the whole time!! My mom finally got up and went to the car and the Vet followed her out!!! She was very rude and unconcerned for my moms emotions at all. She just wanted more money!!! NEVER will these people get another penny of anyone's money that I can convince not to go there!!
