My sister in law hired her to do hair and makeup services for her and the bridesmaids before her wedding. She decided to break the contract agreed upon at the last minute. Since she agreed to do these services for an out of town wedding my sister inlaw provided fully paid lodging so she would be comfortable and after driving to the venue, decided to just cancel at the last minute, and then proceed to tell my sister inlaw the money she paid is non refundable. This is not how business should be conducted and it was extremely unprofessional. She was left scrambling to find someone who could do her hair and makeup hours before her wedding. I would never recommend someone like this for such an important day. My sister inlaw and her bridesmaids looked beautiful without her services and it is a shame so much money was wasted on bad business practices. She could have simply given a refund for services she never provided. Dont waste your time or money. I am sure there are other businesses in the area that provide the same services that show more class when dealing with clients.*These statements are not considered slander when you have proof saying otherwise. For your information text messages and/or social media exchanges with both parties in agreeance is considered a legally binding contract in the state of North Carolina. I guess the burden of proof falls back on you. There are even bank statements proving you received your money unless your account was flagged for fraud. Once this matter is settled professionally and a refund is provided for the services you did not provide, then and only then will I remove this review. How in the world is google allowing a business to give themselves a rating. I am going to display proof with sensitive information blocked. The lady approved lodging accommodations months prior and cancelled on the bride without having checked in to the Inn. All of this was confirmed by the owners of the Inn. Sounds funny that you would say you never received all your money yet you took off on a 3 hour road trip. The bridesmaid let you in when you arrived at the venue.* UpdateAn update is a must....Even though the experience wasn't the best in the long run the owner finally made things right. It did take getting her into court for it to happen but at least it happened. I just hope moving forward if there ever is a problem be upfront and try making things right. Your customers are what make your business so always put your best foot forward.

Absolutely loved working with I Am Oh Too Cute for my wedding!! I had a large bridal party, and Ariel and her crew did a fantastic job on girls and women of all different ages, skin tones, and skin types. Ariel did my makeup flawlessly, and I got so many compliments on that day about my makeup specifically. Cannot recommend her enough!!Services: Bridal services

I hired Ariel for my wedding in 2018 and she did a great job! I don't wear make on a regular basis. So she made me feel comfortable and gave me just what I wanted. I had a wedding party of about 7 and she handled us all with no problem. She was very sweet and patient with us. Very professional and we all enjoyed laughing and talking with her. It was an extreme pleasure to have you create such beautiful hair styles & makeup for all the ladies in the Wedding. I'm sure it was not easy to keep their hair from moving in the Beach wind, thank you for driving 4.5 hours each way to do this also! They all felt so beautiful and it's all thanks to you. Awful business! My Wife booked her, paid for bed and breakfast, and compensated her for travel expenses to do hair and makeup. She didn’t show up and won’t refund money. Ariel showed up at the venue yelling and making a fool of herself at our venue the night before wedding. Do NOT recommend! Spoke very unprofessionally to the girls. How pitiful made fake account to give herself 5 star review ??she didn’t show up to bed & breakfast that wife paid for. & expected my wife to “ check up on her” at 11pm night before her wedding??! What is this woman INSANE?? Isn’t it the other way around that vendors check up on bride night before her wedding! She had more to worry about that night than entertaining adult that acted worse than a child. Is she for real? Mind you my wife is a regular client of hers for 2 years almost and drove an hour and some change one way for her services UNREAL. Thankfully my wife has signed contract, texts to prove their interaction, & email from bed & breakfast to confirm she never showed up.Service: Hairstyling

I had to create a Yelp account just to post this review but if it can help anyone not to get scammed by this business then I am doing the right thing. Absolutely disgusting how she broke her contract with my sister and refused to do the services she promised.. the DAY OF the wedding. She made my sister have to scramble last minute to find someone. You should be ashamed of yourself. On top of not showing up, she also refused to return her refund. This individual is a scammer, liar, and thief. Chose anyone in the area over this business!!

Please do yourself a favor and stay away from "i am oh too cute". My best friend booked Ariel for hair and makeup for her wedding day because she had been going to her for her hair and trusted her. Ariel betrayed my best friend's trust and walked out on her and the entire bridal party the night before her wedding at 1am! See her text screenshot below. Here is how the nightmare unfolded...My friend booked Ariel 7 months in advance of her wedding. We were all asked to pay in advance. The bride and the bridal party all paid her in advance. My friend- the bride (from the goodness of her heart) offered to book a hotel for Ariel since she had a 3 hour drive to the wedding venue. My friend booked a bed and breakfast for her at The Grove Inn in Marion, SC. Ariel asked my friend about the place and my friend sent her the link to the bed and breakfast. Ariel agreed to drive the night before the wedding and stay at The Grove Inn (see text screenshot). The night before the wedding at 11pm, we got a call from Ariel saying her daughter was allergic to cats and there are cats at The Grove Inn. We were really surprised to hear 1) her daughter joined her and 2) her daughter had cat allergy. She then asked my friend if she could stay with us at the wedding venue. The wedding venue did not have any extra rooms or beds so my friend told her we only have two couches. She said she was ok with the couches and made us wait till midnight until she walked in the venue. My friend- the bride was still finishing up her speeches so I said I can let her in the wedding venue cabin. She arrived with her daughter and I showed her the couches and apologized for no extra beds or blankets. She said it was fine and she may have a blanket in her car. I wished her goodnight and left to sleep. I could still hear the tv outside in the living room so I thought they wanted to chill before sleeping. About 30 mins or so later she texted my friend - the bride saying she is leaving and can't do her hair and makeup and won't refund us for the services she decided not to provide anymore with no fault of our own. See text screenshot she sent. I was shocked to hear this and since I could still hear the TV, I thought they were still there, but no, they left the TV on and left the venue. We called her immediately. Ariel yelled at me and my friend and did not reply to our texts or respond to our calls as we frantically called her in panic. We got an email from The Grove Inn asking when our guest was going to check in. The bed and breakfast confirmed that Ariel never went in to check-in. This is sooo wrong on so many levels. All emotions aside, Ariel was unprofessional, disrespectful and illegal. We are taking legal action against her. Before you decide to do any kind of business with her, please put yourself in my best friend's shoes- imagine you planned for your wedding for over a year, booked everything in advance, were all excited to get ready with your girls, spent a lot of your hard earned money so everyone is comfortable and happy providing services on your wedding day only to be robbed off all that joy and excitement a few hours before one of the most important days of your life. Only a non empathetic inhuman creature can do such a thing and only a non empathetic inhuman creature would want to do business with Ariel and "I am oh too cute" after reading this.
