7AM - 10PM
6029 W Gate City Blvd, Greensboro“Rosemary is such an asset to your location; I left a bag in a cart after checking out and she ran all the way down the parking lane to make sure I didn’t leave it behind.
Thanks so much!”
“Even though it is a bit small, Deep Roots hot food bar is the best I know of in Greensboro at the moment. I used to go to Whole Foods a lot more but their hot bar and prepared foods have fallen off really bad and was just plain nasty the last few times I went. The last time we got salads at Whole Foods salad bar, there was sand/grit in the lettuce. Deep Roots on the other hand is always fresh and tasty. We also really like the local produce selection at Deep Roots. Definitely highly recommend Deep Roots over pretty much all the other grocery stores in town.”
“Aldi, my first impression of the store was convincing. The parking lot was clean and the surroundings were neat. There is limited amount of carts. The store associates were polite and professional. The store isn't big and merchandise is a bargain. They do have great produce, organic. There is limited amount of cashiers at the checkout at that time and also you need to have your own grocery bag or purchase one from the store because they don't have polythene bags. One more thing I should add is that the carts are not free either. You need to pay 25 cents to get a cart, and it gives you the 25 cents back after you pulled the cart. I'm not sure if it is applicable to all locations. Great place to shop from and very cost effective compared to many. Happy shopping!! ?”
9:30AM - 7:30PM
4604 W Market St Suite #112, Greensboro“Very nice and friendly people! They have a huge selection of goods that you might have a hard time finding in other Filipino locations. It is definitely worth the visit as I have not had had pandesal in a hot minute. Two thumbs up and definitely support your local Filipino grocery store!!”
“Love the store! I have only been a couple times but always find the items on my grocery list. Both times the cashiers tho, I felt like they were mad or something, and that makes me feel uncomfortable. Just saying.”
9AM - 6PM
2008 W Vandalia Rd, Greensboro“Great little meat market with all the little jars of hard to find pickles, jellies, jams, spreads, etc. They even have all those penny candies, lemon heads, which o sticks, squirrel nuts, butterscotch.”
“I tend to shop for fresh meat and seafood that are on sale and occasional bakery items. Store is very clean and employees are friendly and helpful. Higher prices keep me from shopping here more often.”
“This is a good store. There is seldom more than one register open, and there is almost always someone pandering inside/outside. That said, it's well stocked and has security.”
“Fresh Market is where we go for beef, pork, sausage, fish, and deli slices. I love the Cole slaw and seafood salad. I trust their precooked shrimp to be fresh and excellent. Produce from Fresh Market is always well treated and easy to select from.
The store brand juices are excellent, plus they also have Evolution brand juices, which are the best commercial juices anywhere. I've seen no better cheese selection in Greensboro, and their bulk selections are excellent. For chocolate bars the variety and depth are superb -- here's where I get my Hu brand chocolates in perfect condition.
Shoppers treat each other with courtesy and cooperation, and the staff are attentive, friendly, and helpful at all times. The butchers are knowledgeable and go the extra mile, and at the deli counter they bend over backward to help you get exactly what you want.
I have never had a bad experience at Fresh Market. This is where I go to buy flowers so I can arrange them myself at home. And their end cap and point of sale displays offer a chance to try new products. Since we moved to Greensboro in 1983, Fresh Market has been one of the best parts about living here.”
9AM - 8PM
1507 New Garden Rd, Greensboro“Great prices. Some items I wanted were not being sold. Great for most of the standard items we use regularly, including produce. We sometimes lose stuff that become staples due to occasional cycling, but still our go-to grocery store.”
“I L♡vE this store!! Such a wide variety of good stuff!! The nuts & candy section is a real joy (- :
I started going there because I live in a rural area & the stores don't have many non dairy products. Also, their bread, produce, sandwiches and salads are so good! Daiya is my FAVORITE cheese, and Sprouts was the only place I could find their block cheeses. This last stop, they only had slices & shreds ) - : I didn't ask anyone what that was about, I was in a hurry.
Anyway, go there & wander from vitamins to baked goods, you'll love it too!”
“my favorite place for mexican food in greensboro. I love horchata.
The menu is very simple but that's okay. Normally, I eat three tacos of tongue. All tacos come with a lemon on top. They have many types of tacos, cakes, etc. you can't go wrong haha
if you want authentic food, you go here”
“They still carry my favorite candy "Hot Tamales" in the small individual boxes that cost 25 cents only at the nickel and dime neighborhood store where everyone shops at.”
6:30AM - 11:59PM
5600 W Friendly Ave, Greensboro“Nice owners, great location and the fuel points ALWAYS work for me!! I would NOT fault the store or accuse them of something gross and erroneous that I cannot prove when I'm probably just too STOOPID to deploy a points program, have card issues or am technically deficient in some manner.”
6AM - 12AM
4634 Hicone Rd H, Greensboro“So much prefer food Lion to Walmart. Unless I need lots of different items it's so much quicker to go to Food Lion to grab milk or just a couple items, rather than running from one end of the store to the another at Walmart”
“Amazing store, with great staff, always feel at home anytime I shop here. Not the newest model of a Lowe's food store but that Is what makes it great, there is a family vibe to the store, and it's not overwhelmingly packed with guests all day... Love this store”
“I enjoy shopping here. I really like the things I can find here. Make sure to read the labels. Yes they do have English. Add some different flavors to your next stir fry.”
7AM - 11PM
3603 Groometown Rd, Greensboro“I love this particular food lion. The staff are so nice and so helpful. Three store is always stocked and you usually find what you're looking for.. Clean store.”
“Shopping at Lidl you can save so much. I spent $100 to where if I would have went to Harris Teeter. It would’ve been $250. Very clean store. Staff are wonderful.”
8AM - 10PM
2113 Walker Ave, Greensboro“This is a great spot to pick up local food and drink from a local business. The store is clean, well organized and the employees notice you and ask how they can help. They have a very large selection of NC and regional craft beers from all your favorite breweries such as Southend, Oden, Foothills, etc. Yesterday I was looking for a great new red wine to try and used their descriptions and ratings. I was really pleased with the Ferrari red I chose and felt they were spot on.”
“Great place, great customer service. The store has a variety of West African food products. We drove for more than 35 minutes to get there in order to buy the exact ingredients we needed.”
“My review is based on the deli section and not the whole store. If you want a very good sub sandwich toasted or not, at a great cost, I highly recommend coming to the deli! This was miles better than a lot of sub sandwich chains, and the price was unbelievable here! 4.99 for half a sub and 8.99 for a whole is a bargin with the quality of food you get on the sandwiches. You can pick it your way and add side items and dressings to the sub. There is a fresh sushi preb, lots of quick items on the go, and a very clean look! It's definitely worth a visit to get a great bargin and tasty sub sandwich!”
“I don't go to just one Food Lions about six stores because I can get great service at any l visit but I'm amazed how these stores are Taylor for the the neighborhood they are in and I like All of them because they are cleaned and well stocked in all departments. Plus with their food card saving is easy to use and your saved money without going to your computer to see it...”
6AM - 11PM
2639 Lawndale Dr, Greensboro“I must admit that the assistant store manager, I believe his name is Jeremiah. He really was very helpful and nice. I came to get a corsage for my son for his 8th grade dance. I was late getting off work so when I arrived around 5pm the florist was gone home. This man said well I'm not a trained professional but I will do my best. And when I tell you l, he made something out of nothing. Thank you for making the corsage for me from starch. Jeremiah thanks again!”
“Went to the deli the other day and had the most fabulous service from Bruce at the counter. He gave me a sample of some Irish cheddar and had to grab some. Speedy, kind & professional!”
“Convenient grocery snd health products in one stop. Large selection on supplements vitamins and healthy food choices. I like the Dairy alternative foods and limited ingredient foods. They have a self serve coffee station and it’s excellent coffee low priced!”
7AM - 11PM
4709 Lawndale Dr, Greensboro“It's always a pleasure to shop at Food Lion .The staff are always so personable and professional.Food Lion has become our #1 store for our food shopping needs .”
“As a chef who's basically given up on the quality of grocery stores, I have to say this location has been on point everytime I've shopped there. Highly satisfied. But this post is about a certain employee that works there by the name of Karmen I believe.... I shopped there last night and received the best service that I've ever gotten from an employee. She was very professional and courteous. And kept a smile on her face. And she bagged the items and put them back in the cart. Something that has stopped happening at most food lion locations. I definitely think she's one of their better employees at this location and she deserves a raise if she hasn't had one. She did an amazing job. Most cashiers don't speak until they tell you your total. My hat goes off to her. Finally found a grocery store worth shopping at!”
“This is a great international market for anyone interested in West African food. We drove for close to an hour in order to get the exact ingredients we needed. Our little road trip to this store was worth every mile.”
“Alot more Organic than in Danville, VA. Very busy store. Fun to shop. I feel like I walk out with way more groceries for the price than Food Lion (or Walmart which I hate but has even more Organic than Target.) I just drive an hour. Whole Foods is different now but still shop there too.”
