Its unfortunate that places like great clips will just go over the notes written by whoever cut your hair last and ignore if you wanna change anything.
When I walked in, the girl printed out my notes and asked if I just wanted a 1 on the sides all the way up. I said no, I prefer a taper because I think that'll be too short (not sure who wrote I did 1 all the way up), and asked her thoughts. All she said was we can start and see, which I assumed meant she'd start on a larger size and then show me before going to a 1
Nope. She grabs her clippers and instantly goes WAY too high up the sides on a 1 setting. And my glasses are off so I have no idea whats going on.
I dont get to see the damage until she asks me to put my glasses on and see the immediate disconnect between the super short sides and the longer top hair. At that point I had no option but to also get the top cut short so it would bled better. Lost all my curls.
I learned my lesson. Great clips is too hit or miss for me to continue getting my hair cut here. I would rather just pay for an experienced stylist that will actually listen to me, than save money and walk away disappointed every time.

I had my hair fixed by Marcell and he did a really good job of taking care of my hair issues and was very nice to me. I will be back to this location in the future!

I love Brittany! I had gone to a different location and it was fine, but I needed layers and my hair has a weird wave. Brittany knew exactly how to do what I wanted. The cut is fantastic and she's very personable and we had a great time while she was cutting! I highly recommend this stylist!

Came in for haircut , overall haircut is alright. Got a 1 inch baldness on my side though. I think she accidently brush the side with the clip a little too far. Even tipped her. I wish she could've told me and offer me a discount in future haircut but instead she tried to hide it using my own hair and expect me not to find out when I get home or something

First time visiting this particular location, and now will be where I take my daughter regularly. Michelle did a wonderful job washing my daughter's hair and left looking soooo good, she's very tender headed and not one complaint. Everyone was friendly and very informative. Thank you!!!!

Ashleigh was very sweet and understanding of my needs. I wanted a trim but not too much cut off and she listened. I’ve never been to a great clips or any other “haircut shop” before so I was super nervous. Especially being a natural/unrelaxed woman of color. She made me feel comfortable by showing me exactly where she would be cutting before getting to work. She made sure to communicate that my previous (at home chop shop job) was a little uneven and corrected it for me! Thanks again!!
