Nice to find parking across the street for only $5. Seemed like a fairly well maintained field and lots of concession options though the giant hot dogs were pretty gross. Our son loved playing in the playground area and we enjoyed the open tables which gave you space to socialize and eat/drink while still enjoying the game.

Amazing facility best baseball experience I've ever had. I've been to the Mets and Yankees stadium in the past, along with several other semi pro teams. This one hands down was designed perfectly. It looked as if everyone had a good view of the field. The food was reasonably priced and the bathrooms were clean.

Stadium is very well situated so there is plenty of cheap parking regardless of where you are. Appearance and atmosphere are too notch at the single A level.

Excellent ball park in the middle of the city. The entire park is absolutely beautiful. Very kid friendly. Well stocked souvenir store. Lots of drink and food vendors. One of the best fireworks shows I've witnessed.

Such a nice baseball field with plenty of concessions so you're not waiting in line so long. Bathrooms are clean. Seating was a little tight but that's to be expected. Overall, we had a great time and can't wait to do it again!

This is a great ballpark. Lots of different food options beyond the typical ballpark fare of hotdogs and peanuts. I got a really good gyro and side-salad.There are several craft beer stands and places offering craft cocktails. The ballpark has a large kids play area and an active and friendly mascot.Staff is very friendly and helpful.

Very nice stadium with good accomodations for just a ball game or they have suites if you are having an event. All staff is friendly and resourceful for any issues or questions you have.Family friendly environment.

The clerk was nice, friendly, and patient. The stadium was nice. I'm slightly bigger so I was a little uncomfortable seating to the people I came to experience the game with. The firework were great and the dog was a fascinating plus. Lol...

I love this place! As a baseball fan there is nothing like the atmosphere and food at a good ball park. I've been coming to games in GSO since they were at War Memorial Stadium. Great memory making activity alone or with the family. Go on a Friday or Saturday and catch the fireworks!

These grasshopper baseball games are a lot of fun and if you are looking for an outdoor experience with fresh air and a nice environment it's great. There is a family section near the 1st base dug outside where there is no alcohol allowed, and there is a playground next to it. We don't use the playground, but we do enjoy the family type of atmosphere where our kids can be a little bit louder without annoying other people. We try to go on Fridays or Saturdays when there are some fun fireworks shows afterwards. The fireworks last about 7 minutes, but it feels like 15, because they literally pull a trailer onto the field and shoot them right in front of you.

Great venue and fun for the whole family. Affordable tickets and food is pretty reasonably priced too. Fireworks were awesome.

Such a fun time. Never been here before. Been to other baseball games though and it seems similar. Nothing lacking in comparison. Would go again. The dog was a great bonus! Fetching bats and running the bases at the end. Such a cute trained dog.

This is a great experience! We sat right behind home plate for $13/apiece.None of the Cubs’ top prospects currently play for the Grasshoppers. However, the opponent had 5 players who are projected to be in the major leagues either next year or 2024, where people will need to pay a lot more to watch them in good seats. The stadium is nice and modern, but it still has a classic feel with its brick arches. I like the convenient visitors’ shop, which was still open late after the game ended. I also like how the stadium is on a downtown city block with apartments just past the fence in the fashion of Wrigley Field. If the stadium got some ivy, and the apartments got some bleachers, it would be like a modern replica (with newer apartments and a newer stadium). The game experience is great. They have a lot of original touches. One of my favorites is a dog who retrieves bats during two of the innings. He seems so happy and excited, and the first time he retrieved a bat, he ran around the baseball diamond for a little bit while the crowd cheered. The fireworks were also a great touch. I don’t especially like the really loud and bright ones they do towards the end. If anyone in your party has sensory sensitivities, I would recommend that they bring ear plugs and/or sun glasses for the firework finale (or just shut their eyes). We parked at Grace United Methodist Church. It was less than a block away, parking was $4 (for a good cause), and after the game we exited directly onto East Friendly Avenue and without needing to wait for many cars. I honestly wouldn’t mind paying them a few extra dollars for the convenience. Here are some tips for seating:1. The 3rd base side of the stadium gets shade sooner in the evening than the 1st base side. So one factor is whether you want more sun or more shade.2. A handful of kids who sat near the tunnel and closer to the field behind the Grasshopper’s dugout got game bats. That could be a good place to sit with a young baseball fan.3. There is a grassy hill at the end of the 1st base side, and a bit of young kids ran (or rolled) up and down it during the game. That’s a decent seating area for parents of kids with high energy and a low level of attention and/or interest in the game.

On hot summer evenings you'd be much better off selecting seats behind home plate but at the top of the section near the large ceiling fan. Our seats were second row directly behind home plate and the only breezes we got were from wild swings of frustrated batters. 89 degrees is a tad uncomfortable to baste in for 3.5 hours even with expensive cold beers. First National Bank Field itself was impeccably clean and the folks working there were friendly. The people tending the food and beverage counter seemed less than motivated... maybe it was the heat. Nice facility though.
