We were welcomed with warm cookies. The rooms are alright, they came with all the toiletries but didn’t look like the website said. The tv was very laggy and buffers. The service at breakfast was good but the food was mostly reheated and we had to pay for it even thought they said it came with our room. The descriptions of the food we were getting was not what we were served. The afternoon service was HORRIBLE, the girl was rushing back and forth and we didn’t get our food until a FULL HOUR later while kids were running around and playing hide and seek under the tables of the whole restaurant. The pool was also closed. I would not recommend this hotel especially for the price of the stay. Don’t be fooled by the website.

Ate onsite at the Doubletree Hilton Greensboro restaurant called the Gate City Sports Bar and Grille. The unassuming location, hidden off the main lobby, boasts plenty of seating. But what you will be most impressed by is the warmth of the bartender Kymesha who will greet you with southern charm, making you feel welcome at any table you choose. If you are lucky enough to be served by Zarah, she will tell you her favorite item on the menu is the burger and the way Chef Ronald cooks to perfection. But if you ask to meet the chef--be prepared to meet a kind soul, who when asked, will prepare your favorite, off-menu dish, because you have been on the road for weeks and have a dietary restriction that is preparing you for surgery. The staff at this hotel is outstanding. From the bright and cheery entrance to the comfortable, clean rooms, to the amazing restaurant. The atmosphere will make you happy to return to Greensboro.

Stayed here for a night for a concert. Room was clean. Bathroom was ok. Shower needs a little work. Would stay here again.

Had a last minute change to my reservation this morning. Called the hotel and they took care of it. They could have just told me I was out of luck, but they went the extra mile to help me. Great customer service. Can't wait to stay there on my rescheduled visit.

Hey there! I recently stayed at DoubleTree and it was amazing! The location was convenient, the amenities were top-notch, and the service was outstanding. The staff went above and beyond to make my stay comfortable and enjoyable. I highly recommend DoubleTree for a fantastic hotel experience.

If I could rate no stars for the rooms I would. My friend and I booked a room because we were in Greensboro for a concert so our options were limited. We got to the room and immediately noticed something was off. The bathroom seemed like it wasn’t cleaned (water stains all over counter, towels were kinda dirty).When showering I grabbed a towel that had a makeup stain on it. I tried to ignore it and just grabbed another one. But when I undid the bed we found multiple hair under the sheets and crumbs etc. The sheets were definitely not changed ? and both beds were like that. It was clear that the room wasn’t cleaned and just fixed up to cover it.The hotel was sold out so we couldn’t get a new room so we had to sleep on top of the bed with blankets that the concierge gave us. I wish I would have taken pics but we were so grossed out we just wanted to leave.

I'm going to try to say something that disappointed me. It's really hard.My family and I were in Greensboro for a family reunion at this hotel. We arrived at the hotel aprox 10:30a after being on the road from Philadelphia since 2am. When I got to the front desk, I was politely acknowledged and welcomed immediately. I explained that I we just got in from Philly and hoped that our rooms might be ready. The lady at the deck said that my rooms are assigned and she assured me that they will be ready in an hour. I was fine with that.We went a mile or two down the road to Walmart to kill time. We came back in just over an hour, I was greeted immediately and politely again by another woman at the front desk. I explained what I was told earlier. She looked up my reservation up, and the rooms were ready as promised. She was also helpful, polite and professional checking me in. I got cookies and water for all 6 of us. Both ladies were great!When we got in the rooms we were pleased. The rooms were clean . They even smelled clean. The beds were comfortable. We were pleased with our stay for two nights.The free breakfast was okay. A couple of small hiccups with not enough food items being out. It wasn't a big deal. The staff handled it as fast and efficiently as they could.Overall, we were all pleased.Nearby activities: A lot of restaurants down the road in both directions. The mall is close. Wet N Wild Water Park is less than 20 minutes away

On arrival, no welcome cookies which is the best feature of this hotel chain, lobby and common areas were old, smelly and in worn condition, AC was extremely noisy, there was no mini fridge in the room and then no complimentary breakfast for $141 per night you would expect to at least get complimentary breakfast but I guest not at this chain. The bathroom sink leaked, and parts of the shower installation were lying on the shower floor.The room itself was comfortable.
