For the past 2 weeks, when you purchase items, they do not have bags for you to put food or clothing in. They also only have one cashier. When you purchase anything, you have to carry it out in your hand. I had milk and several other things that were carried out, and the milk was coming out in the car. It was a good thing that I had mats. They need to buy bags for their customers or lose customers/business.

Not 1 single aisle could be walked down without something being on the floor or in the way. Hire me, I’ll get the shït straight!!

Store hours online and on the door say they open at 8. It’s 8:22am and the doors are still locked. Can’t call inside because the line is busy. Yet there’s a car out here, and the lights are on inside. Customers are showing up and can’t get in.

I stopped here around 5:45pm on a Sunday afternoon to get some paper towels. There were boxes for restocking EVERYWHERE which blocked aisles. The only cheaper brand of paper towels they had was somewhat open, but I got them anyway. At check out, there were 2 people at the register but it wasn't that busy. I wonder why they didn't have 1 person restocking while the other at the register. It seems like every time I come, there are carts everywhere for restocking, honesty.

I came here around 4:35pm on a Monday afternoon to get some household items. There is a ice cooler outside. Inside, there was sign indicating the restrooms are out of order. There were carts of items that needed to be stocked everywhere! In some areas, there was barely enough room to get a shopping cart by. There was actually a few carts that completely blocking two aisles… which is ridiculous.I observed the candy section and frozen section to have many items low or out of stock. The prices increased on many items as I could see the new sticker over the old one. They didn’t have many of the laundry detergent too.I used the dollar general app to see what coupons they had. I found one for $5 off $30 for Gain products. I got a large detergent and a large aroma beads. I also got a large size of bounce pet dryer sheets, which had a $2 off coupons. I got some body wash for my son. After checking out, I realized I was over charged by $1 for the body wash. The shelf said $5 but it rang up $6. I then also found a coupon for $3 off two. So I returned the one and bought two to get the $3 off. It ended getting two for $9 versus 1 for $6. They didn’t honor the shelf price since I was using a coupon. The cashier apologized for the price difference. She stated that the whole store needed to be “reset” and that they would be doing it tomorrow. As the cashier kept talking, she said someone came to reset the prices and but they didn’t change the strip. She said it was supposed to change it back In April…. It’s SEPTEMBER. It sounded like she was being dishonest or either she didn’t know. This isn’t the first time that I’ve gotten items where the prices on the shelf was lower than at the register. ALWAYS CHECK! If repeated errors, you can report it to the state.

As far as Dollar Generals go, this is a good location. Food is always in stock & supplies are varied. I often drop by to refill my cupboards before grocery day and the prices are very easy on the wallet. This location does a lot of restocking during the day, which can be difficult on clientele who are trying to get through different aisles, so be prepared. Otherwise, this place is great for providing Greensboro residents with what they need!

I like this dollar general and it's been nice living closer to one. The staff does their job and will answer questions. Maybe not the friendliest toned people but they've never been rude to me. They essentially mind their business, do their job, and I can respect that. I took a star off because The seasonal aisle is never fully stocked and there are always towers of boxes sitting in the middle of the aisle waiting to be stocked. I've lived here for little over a year and every single time I've gone in this store, which is at least once a week, that aisle has empty shelves and boxes in the middle of the floor. It bums me out because they typically have cute stuff on that aisle but I never get to see it.Oh and be careful with the snacks and food. I've gotten a box of stale crackers, chips, and candy that were all expired. I no longer buy food here. So maybe 3.5 stars for me.

This store was decent..however, the new management's bad attitudes along with a messy store..while they listening to foul mouthed music..is a definite negative!!

Messy, messy, messy. And the two employees on the floor were fussing about how much stuff they had to put out instead of just doing it. Stacks of boxes of merchandise was blocking every isle in the back of the store. It's already crowded bc of the holidays. Shelves were empty in several areas of paper goods like plates, bowls, and plastic utensils. Wanted to get a jump on the Thanksgiving crowds but I guess I should've waited til after maybe 4 or 5 pm. Shipments could have been delayed, I understand, but this is my opinion for today around 12 or 1 pm. I've had many more pleasant experiences over the years and I plan to continue to shop there. I guess we have to continue to support them... People need their jobs, even if they fuss and complain while doing them.
