The insurance was more than the cost of the rental.

Staff is very rude. Unacceptable customer service. Extremely Unhelpful, I called ahead to confirm certain info on the website was accurate, I was assured it was but when I got there I was told otherwise all while being treated very rudely.

This place is a scamThey claim to be hassle free but make it quite difficultI’ve rented from other car places and the tolls never require an admin feeDollar rental charges 15$ per toll you take, even if the toll was 1-5$ each. They refuse to fix anything about their service and the money scamming they do. They add several charges to your total with no explanation and you have no way of disputing it.Stay away from this companythey have lost several loyal customers this way

Easy transaction, staff was friendly and helpful. Requested a Chevy Malibu or similar, received a Dodge Charger GT, no complaints here. Will rent from here again.

I rented a car from CLT for one day, drove it to GSO. Got my receipt, for $646 bucks! The receipt said that I had the car for 2 days and that I returned it to Tampa! Customer service is terrible, takes about a month to figure it out. Terrible experience!

Fully reserved vehicle, but they didn't honor the price. Manager said it was normal business practice for them to raise the price when their customer arrived at the airport, that the reserved price was just a suggested price. I've traveled all over the U.S. and world, never had that happen. I contacted Dollar's headquarters and they agreed that they didn't have to honor reserved prices. I won't rent from Dollar Car Rental again.

The 3 stars that reflects an overall rating is more than generous. I would give this business 0 stars. I made a rental and was unable to pickup my rental because they told me my license wasn't valid. This is the same license that was ran through TSA, the same license that has me registered as a driver in my state and now you're telling me that it's not valid? So then what would my next step me? The worker behind the counter made sure to do a great job at making me feel uncomfortable, she continuously whispered to the lady next to her and they both stared at me like I had the plague. Absolutely terrible service, andZERO profrssionalism.. I asked her if she could rerun my license or enter it manually and she just said no. I asked what about my reservation then? And she informed me that it was cancelled. Worst service ever. Hope by next year this company no longer exists.

If I could rate Dollar Car Rental at the Greensboro airport negative stars or zero stars, I would. This is the worst experience I’ve ever had at a car rental agency, potentially one the worst at a place of business period.I’ve been renting through Dollar for a few years now, mainly for their debit card policy. I was able to rent with my debit card for a few years, without any problem. Their website declares “worry free, hassle free” debit card usage. There were no restrictions. Just had a 24 hour requirement for booking.Recently, Dollar changed their policy to be a little more stringent, but if you were a Dollar Express Rewards Member, many of the restrictions were waived if you were using a debit card, only certain car classes could be rented, as well as the 24 hour requirements and such.Today, I wanted to rent a car. I intended on renting a mid size vehicle as the rules dictated, and I had rented before the 24 hour requirement, and had a debit and credit card in my profile. I talked with Amy I believe it was, and another coworker that I didn’t catch their name. I was told I could not rent with a debit card without having a return flight, which is in direct contradiction to their website policy stating that established Dollar Rewards members with a debit card in their profile were exempt from the other requirements. I met those requirements. I did not get a car today. I used my own vehicle.Dollar, you lost a customer for life today. I rented at least once a month for the last few months. If you updated your policy, you should update your website. If you didn’t update your policy, you need to educate your customer representatives on how to treat customers with respect and on your own policies. You failed miserably today, and lost a customer. There are other options to rent a car other than through the big rental agencies. I will be doing that from now on. Get in the 21st century, not everyone wants to go into debt to rent a vehicle, and you are not more of a “risk” to want to rent with a debit card. I always returned the car, always in better shape than when received. There were other customers who were complaining about the condition of their vehicle received while I was waiting too.I wouldn’t suggest Dollar to anyone. They dropped the ball, and they are liars when it comes to “hassle free” debit card rentals. Never again. Never again.

Rented a car from Dollar at the Houston airport. Took over two hours standing in line to get the car. That's not the complaint. It's the administrative fees for tolls. $6.25 worth of tolls and I'm being charged $66.25. There were no toll booths to pay and If they knew there were tolls I should have been able to get an ez pass. I have rented from Dollar many times and that trip alone was over $600. I will never rent from Dollar/Hertz/Thrifty ever again. They will get their $66.25 but I think they losing a lot more then that.

First time renting from PTI... Was pleasantly surprised at the speed and quality of service I received at this location. I typically rent from larger more busier airports that have lower quality of service. If I am ever in Greensboro again and need a rental this location will be my only choice!

I strayed away from Dollar during my last business trip and did not have a good experience. This trip I went with Dollar and as usual it was seamless. I'll stick with Dollar on my upcoming trips as well.

I’ve rented from dollar all last year. I calculated that I’ve spent approximately 24 thousand with rental car service in the last 10-13 months. I’ve never gotten a note to pay a toll, instead nc quick pass sends the invoices and I pay it in a timely manner. Instead I’ve been billed by dollar rental some 30 days after and some before the 30 days that nc quick pass has to even send the notice out . There’s was 15 administrative fees for 1 dollar fees, that’s aren’t overdue. I even called to pay and there was 30 more dollars. I’ve been invoiced for 60 lol on a 4 dollar fee that isn’t over due and then when I paid there was another 30 dollar fee. The website won’t tell me why. I paid it because I know how rental cars charges can impede traveling. I’m actually disappointed lol this is more of a scam that low level rental car spots try but dollar rental is connected to hertz so it’s just an all the way bad look. I rented the car for a month and spent 1800 dollars , I didn’t mind that, that’s my fee but to fines me out of 100. That kinda pressed my button so I leave this review to say good bye dollar rental, I’ll take my services elsewhere.
