Yikes ,
The wait time for a MinuteClinic visit is insane more that 1 hour even I had my app already scheduled and after a lot of delays I had to wait more to get some analysis done.

I’ve had a few issues when I first started using this pharmacy and didn’t really care for a few of its team members. The last few times I’ve been in John in the pharmacy was AWESOME. He is always kind, always has a smile and soft tone. He has always been helpful in recommending and applying a coupon code from the manufacturer (my pcp didn’t tell me about). I understand the pharmacy can get hetic with refills, calls from patients and prescribers, discrepancies, and people always rushing having no patience. But John takes it all and stride and he delivers great customer service. The male pharmacist is kind and helpful as well but it’s something about John that makes me breathe easier when I see him behind the counter. Thank you John for always being kind and helpful when I see you.

I knew where the product is kept and quickly found it. Miss P who waited on me did an excellent job and I did appreciate it very much.

I visited the minute clinic. The medical assistant, CMA, intake nurse (or whatever her title is), wasn’t pleasant. She seems like she doesn’t enjoy her job. I only say this because this is my second time there within a short period of time and she’s been rude each time. The nurse practitioner was great! Very informative and more polite.

I had a difficult time taking a photo of my insurance card and then trying to load it on to the appointment check-in site. I am a retired state employee and have had Humana Health insurance plus, I am an 80 year old. Finally, after 4 tries, I gave up. Hopefully a photo can be taken of my insurance card when I go to get my shot.

I help take care of my elderly cousin and it is always an issue when I take her in to get refills…. And, they treat her like she is nothing! I’m encouraging her to move to another pharmacy. Their mgmt needs to secret shop this location.

Visited this particular CVS for a Minute Clinic visit as my son needed a sports physical asap. (I should’ve had it done over the summer with his doctor’s office, as I knew appointments would be filled up fast with school starting back up! )
I was able to find an appointment slot with ease and made the appointment on time . The store and clinic area overall were very clean and organized.
When we walked in,I don’t recall the 2 female staff members talking with each other in the front , greeting us (if they did, I didn’t hear them). But as we sat in the clinic , waiting to be seen I did hear them greet all customers who came in afterwards .
When my son was called in , I’m not sure if the lady (didn’t catch her name) was the Medical Assistant (not sure of her title), she wasn’t very welcoming. She was quick in taking his vitals , but I don’t even remember her greeting and introducing herself.
She seemed a bit irritated, and could have been , as I know those appointments were coming in back to back. I get being overworked , or whatever the case may have been, but being in the medical field.. should make patients feel a bit more welcomed. After taking his vitals , she did explain to wait back in the waiting area as the Nurse Practioner, Lisa , would then see us so he can get checked up.
Lisa was very welcoming, quick, and professional. Finished up the sports physical , and we were on our way.
I personally prefer the East Cornwallis location for their MinuteClinic , as that is closer to where I live. But being that there was no availability , I had to go where we could. Overall, not too bad of an experience.

There's a CVS convenient to my home. It had the cough syrup my doctor recommended in stock. The cough syrup was not competitively priced but there was a generic available and I had been emailed a 40% off coupon. There was no staff at the check out counter when I arrived or when I was ready to check out. The self checkout computer froze and summoned staff when I chose "use your own bag." The staff person was prompt and unfroze it. Then the computer froze because my cough syrup had an age restriction. Again, the staff person was prompt and helpful, but I had to wait for her twice, so it was not an efficient check out. I prefer to check out with the assistance of store staff. The self check out often requires staff to be summoned for various reasons, and it's annoying and time consuming. Also, CVS prices are almost always higher than other stores or Amazon. I usually use coupons to shop at CVS because of the high prices. I like the convenience of the CVS in my neighborhood and the staff is generally friendly, but CVS is usually a rip-off on prices, and I often am annoyed because the lack of staff at the check out counter makes use of the self checkout necessary. I believe, if self check out is the only option, customers should get a discount for checking themselves out because they are doing work that store staff formerly performed for a wage. CVS pricing and service are not consumer friendly. I don't understand why CVS stores in working-class neighborhoods like mine don't close due to lack of customers.
