Update: my doctor sent me confirmation that indeed my insurance approved me to get 15 tablets a month and the paharmacy didnt fill the rx properly at all. Sent it to CVS inside target, with no issues they filled my RX for 15 tablets 100% covered by insurance
The pharmacy failed to tell me I couldn't take my medicine as prescribed because my insurance capped the amount of pills I can have in a month, they allowed me to leave the pharmacy and take my medication as prescribed, and when I ran out and called in for a refill- only then did they tell me I'm capped at 9 and I can't take it every other day. Well now I'm out- but wait, I can pay $1100 to get the rest! Then they proceeded to tell me it was my fault for not reading the brown paper bag that literally disintegrates upon opening. No- you should have said- 'hey, we can't give you 15 tablets so don't take them every other day or you'll run out!' That is literally the job of a pharmacists- to help people understand how to take their medication! An apology at that point would've been nice, I didn't get one, instead I got 'its on the bag' okay, but its not on the bottle! My grandfather was a pharmacists for 64 years, 20 of those with CVS and he would have never let a customer leave without understanding that he couldn't fill a RX as prescribed
I'm disgusted with the pharmacy department here. I would've given 0 stars

Love this location. They are the best stocked CVS in town. Love the staff, they are so helpful and friendly.

This is the absolutely worst pharmacy I have ever seen. Rude and obnoxious employees who care nothing about their sick customers.

I've had nothing but problems getting my pain medication filled here since I moved to Greensboro in 2019. Refills aren't allowed on controlled substances, so my doctor faxes them 2 Rxs for 2 months. I can't count how many times I've called this CVS to get it filled and they say they never got a fax from my doctor. Then I contact my doctor about it, and the doctor says they absolutely did fax it to CVS. So then I have to call CVS back and tell them what the doctor's office said. Then miraculously CVS finds the fax and I can get it filled! It's a controlled substance which means it can't be filled a few days early, so when I'm calling to fill it, that means I only have a few pills left. There have been numerous times when I've run out and been in severe pain because of this CVS can't do their job ... especially when I need it filled on a Friday or weekend and have to wait until Monday to contact my doctor ... only for my doctor to say the prescription was indeed faxed to this CVS!

If I could give a 0 I would. I am so tired of people with customer-facing jobs actively treating customers with disdain. Tried to get a flu vaccine here for myself and my dad. Signed up online for an appt, no problem . As we stood in line at the pharmacy to check in, I witnessed the entire pharmacy staff make fun of the older woman in front of me for asking about why her insurance no longer works at CVS (at this point, I think United Healthcare knows more than we do about their service). Once it was my turn, the young woman purposely ignored me standing there and proceeded to discuss her co-worker's love life with the rest of the staff while she made me wait. Then she tells me that my father's vaccine is not covered there at CVS with Medicare. Quote, "We've been having this problem with Medicare and the system is saying that he has to go to a doctor for the shot." We'll get back to this in a minute. So I ask her if I need to wait for my shot. She looks at me like I'm an idiot and is like, "what do you mean do you have to wait?" I'm I not speaking English? Do I have to wait? (There's another woman sitting there but I did not know what she was sitting for.) So I go, "yes, am I behind this lady? Where do I go?" Her flippant response, "Oh, I just got here; I didn't know someone was there." Well, how about treating people with some common courtesy? PS - We left this CVS and drove to the Walmart nearby where my father walked in and got his flu shot with no problem. I will not be going back to this store for any reason and I have cancelled my CarePass for CVS. I don't have to go to places that treat people like this.

The pharmacist needs customer service lessons. Hanging up on patients who are trying to get a prescription shouldn’t be normal behavior.

I needed a flu/covid test and was able to schedule a same day appointment. The nurse that did intake was nice and very thorough. The NP, Briana, was very sweet and helpful with my diagnosis and offered treatment advice and doctor's notes. I did have to wait a little past my appointment time, but for there only being 2 people working, it was quick.

I took my 17 year old daughter for a vaccination in the minute clinic. NOWHERE upon sign up for the appointment did it say to bring her immunization record. The woman who attended us was EXTREMELY rude and disrespectful. Talking about it’s not her responsibility to keep track of my child’s immunizations. I simply tried to explain that the sign up process did not mention bringing the record with us and that CVS might want to consider putting that in the future. Definitely will never return to this minute clinic again with people working there with attitudes such as that.

STAY AWAY!!! This location hides information and then charges you for "office visits" when no prices/fees are displayed or discussed. They are charging us FIFTEEN months after the so called "visit".
