We recently took our fur baby to Cobb Animal Clinic for the first time. Dr. Leach was wonderful with Dream. The staff was courteous and friendly. They kept us informed throughout the process of her annual exam. I'm glad we found a new vet to call home.

After Rocky's surgery, he perked up, began healing immediately. I entrust the vets recommendations completely.

Wonderful Veterinarians. The staff is wonderful, Dr. Meekins is normally my Dr when it comes to my pets and she shares information that is very valuable. She does Puppy care 101 you can learn a lot while listening and she always ends with “do you have any questions?, I know I said a lot” ?

We have two rescue dogs and two champion show dogs. Dr Whitley treats them all like they are valued members of our family, which they are! He is a great surgeon and diagnostician and he is so kind despite the fact that I often have endless questions! The staff at this animal hospital are also helpful and friendly. I can’t recommend them highly enough and after trying to find a vet closer to me I finally decided it was worth the drive to go back to Cobb animal clinic, which I used for many years when we lived in NC before. They probably aren’t perfect but closest to it that I have found, and I am extremely picky about the care of my dogs.

When I went to schedule my dogs' semi-annual, I noticed a decreased rating for Cobb. And then I got sucked into the Yelp vortex once again... so I am adding a review on my SUBJECTIVE experience, like everyone else here. Take Yelp for what it is and I surely hope you take in all input. We have been bringing our pets here since 2010. We have had animals (not just our pets!) seen by every veterinarian at Cobb, but almost always go to Dr Meekins. Beginning with Dr Meekins but including everyone - veterinarians, technicians, admin and desk folks - we are greeted and treated with kindness and compassion. All questions are answered. When boarding, we can tell our dogs were treated like they lived there. Those are the basics, in our view, for a good veterinary practice and if you have had pets for a while, you already know how much all of this matters. We have brought our aforementioned pets for all care, both cats and dogs, for everything from routine checkups to major surgery to agonizing end-of-life. We bring in strays to get fixed and sometimes find those critters a home. This business knows us, and we know them, and across decades of pet ownership in many cities throughout the US I can only say that Cobb is everything you want for the care of your pets. I remember the first time we took our dog here. A friendly woman was having her dog looked after and she said "I have been bringing my kids here for almost 40 years." It was a statement of trust I have heard more than once since while in the waiting area. And this kind of advocacy means more to me than what I get on Yelp. I hope it helps you, too.

I am the neighbor to some folks that just brought their dog in for a spay. Trusting this vet with the care of their baby. I have never seen such a botched attempt to spay a dog. They could have lost their dog and the response they received from this vet was so lackluster and uncaring. The staples looked awful at the incision site, the dog traumatized from the experience and though they inquired many times about getting antibiotics, none were given and of course the poor dog became extremely Ill from a wound infection. Run from this vet... fast...

This is the hell my poor dog Iggy has had to go through thanks to this clinic. I've back 5 times since her spay surgery out of concern because her surgery went wrong. Dr. Aaron Fry slit her spleen during surgery causing a hemorrhage, after waking up she vomited and choked on her vomit. ALL TO BE BLAMED ON ME AND MY FAMILY. "Are you sure you didn't feed her after 10?" Searching for excuses of why it wasn't her fault and continued to ask until me as a concerned mother thinking of any possible reason at all that it could have been my fault now and wanting her to only be okay. Out of desperation for answers on why this horrible thing happened I said that sometimes she eats her toys but she poops it out and hasn't had a problem before only because she kept asking me if there was anything she could have gotten into... setting me up to take her fault. After that it all became my fault because it could be an obstruction in her stomach.... EVEN AFTER TAKING STOMACH X-RAYS FINDING NOTHING. She made it her point to cover herself each time with gaslighting me saying she wish she would have known about that because she could have opened her stomach too while she was in there. After that her gums turned white and she wasnt having any refill also extremely lethargic I took her back. Each time taking her back to be told I'm crazy. Stop looking at her gums. Oh she's doing fantastic. She now has an infection due to their negligence. If you love your animals keep them away from this vet. The 4.9 reviews mean nothing now in my eyes after my experience and my poor dog having to suffer for someone's lack of care. These people need to be held accountable for their actions. Please spread the word.

I started using Dr Whitley years ago for when my regular veterinarian couldn't figure something out! Due to his knowledge he saved the life of a dog who wouldn't have made it without his help, this was in the 90s! in 2006 we moved out of state for ten years and when we got back he was so busy I couldn't always see him. But I have learned that the other veterinarians work closely with Dr Whitley so even if the appointment isn't always with him the knowledge base is there. The staff is kind and professional and truly even though I showed dogs for 40 years and I'm beyond picky, Dr Whitley gets an A+ always. Not just knowledgeable but kind and compassionate. He is simply the best!

My dog is 15 and has cancer and muscle deterioration. She threw up after her chemo yesterday and I haven’t been able to get her to eat in order to take her pills. I called Cobb today to get liquid painkillers for her instead of her Galliprant tablets because she can’t get the pills down and need to help her feel better so maybe she will eat. They closed at noon today so they left her meds in the drop box and when we picked them up they were just another brand of tablets - NOT liquid. Therefore they are completely useless and no help at all. It completely defeated the point of picking up new meds for her. I said multiple times I needed liquid pain meds for her like Metacam because she’s not eating to take her pills and they didn’t listen AT ALL. Now they are closed for the rest of the weekend and the only way I can get any help for my old sick dog is to go spend hours at an emergency vet and $$$ just to get a prescription. To say I’m disappointed in Cobb is an understatement.

Over 30 yrs ago, we “adopted” our first dog, KC, from Cobb Animal Clinic. Through the years, Dr Whitley cared for KC, our redbone, Ruby and now our Great Dane, Gunner. In between the dogs, my parents trusted their cats to Dr Whitley and Dr Meekins even put my daughters gerbil “to sleep” (respiratory failure-the lil fella was suffering) I cannot name a single time that we haven’t been pleased with the treatment given to any of our pets. Dr Whitley is a top notch Doc AND a good man. He treats your pets like he would treat his own without trying to dollar and dime you to death. There is absolutely no other place I would trust so much. Everyone is respectful, professional, knowledgeable and compassionate while being down to earth. Simply the best.

Most people are complaining about the pandemic disaster, they can not afford $500 there is no job so I saw a review on investment tried it with $1,000. 00 even though they are lower cost of investment. starting from the range of $500 but I got a multiplication of my funds to over $10,000.00 in a week time it's magical because I never believe until I gave it a trial that is why I need to post an epistle of this online.
