We own an older but rare BMW model with low miles, so needless to say, it was stressful when a bolt snapped off in the engine block during some maintenance my husband was performing. We had a very hard time finding anyone that would touch it due to the circumstances, but finally a mobile mechanic came... and made it even worse, by breaking a tool off in the engine block. After many calls and being referred from one place to the next, I reached Carr and was told that their "master bolt extractor" would try his best. It took him almost a full day but he removed it and saved our vehicle. Even more, they were fine with our towing it back to our house so my husband could complete the job he started, since that would have cost us quite a bit in labor (replacing the entire cooling system). They've definitely earned a new customer now, the next time we need service.

Better than dealership service at half the cost. First thing I noticed was how clean the garage is kept. The floor is spotless. Carr will be caring for my GLE350 for a long time. Extremely happy to have a honest German garage for service. Want great service on a German vehicle…. Take it to a garage with a self passion for German performance cars. New to the Gboro area back in March, Brought my car here for an oil leak that i had for a while, customer service was good. Car finished at a decent time, but when i got the car back the c clamp for the charge hose wasnt inserted properly and putty was applied ok cool. They helped with that. I noticed the day after the car was still leaking oil but not as much so i didnt think too much maybe the oil drain plug was missing the rubber grommet. Now 10months later after attempt to take a trip to carwoinds back in September the car is leaking oil every couple miles, crazy. So what happened was the valve cover was serviced along with the oil filter housing but not the oil pan itself? Or even to check and see if theres a leak coming from the oil pan. Still today jan 8 car stuck in my garage full of oil, i tried to do the job my self found bolts over tightened, missing bolts, engine bracket bolt very overtightened have not gotten it off yet.

Carr did a lot of small decent jobs for me, but when it came to replacing my 335i clutch the owner was not the best at quickly resolving the clutch pedal vibration situation after the job done and kept blaming my flywheel and wanted me to pay for labour again and new flywheel. After 4 unpleasant months and a lot of research done by me , the clutch/trust bearing/ sleeve/ arm were replaced and issue resolved. The owner still tried to blame my flywheel as job was being redone but a trip to the shop resolved that. Doubt many people could have gotten this resolved without serious extra expenses. Don't think there was a need for such a large respected shop to resolve the situation like this. So beware on major jobs. 5 stars goes to 2 for the owner's attitude.

In February 2023 key fob all of a sudden was not being recognized when trying to start up my 2006 Mercedes Benz e350 to go to work. I contacted this place from a referral I got from a locksmith, got it towed to location. After diagnostic they found the problem, reprogrammed & made new key with fob at the best price compared to 5 other shops that work on foreign cars in the Greensboro area including the MB dealership of course. They could've charged wayyyy more but didn't. Carr industries worked with me & got it done fast, affordably and the team was very nice n reassuring. As a working class person who don't have much they made it happen. Will go to them for all other needed services, highly recommended !!!!
