I was given a Library Ladder Chair as a Christmas present from my sister. In attempting to assemble it, the screws would not hold the seat in place as it was warped. Customer Service requested photos which I sent. No response. Called again and left a message. No response. Called again and I was told they would call me back after the manager sees what should be done. It is now 1/23 and there has been no response. I called again and had to leave a message. It appears this company does not stand behind its products nor will they return phone calls. I am thoroughly disgusted with Carolina Chair & Table Company. I am also sorry to have to advise my sister that her $200 gift to me is unusable and the Company refuses to correct the problem.

I ordered a Carolina Chair and Table entryway table online from All Modern online. It shipped on time and when I opened the package I saw that it was missing the hardware. I talked to Jenny in customer service and she said she'd get back with me on mailing the missing hardware. I have been unable to get a hold of her since. I spent over $200 for a table that cannot be put together and cannot return since no one will answer the phone.

I purchased the Library Ladder Chair. Opened the box and at first this appears to a be straightforward assembly. All the pieces were there, and all holes looked to be predrilled. Not so fast … Most holes were predrilled. There were no predrilled holes on the seat and there weren’t any markings on it either. You are left to your own devices to figure that part out. The instructions don’t even tell you this. I thought it was a manufacturing defect. So, I called the manufacturer to send me another seat. After not getting a callback, I called again and spoke to the one person in their customer service department. She was completely clueless about the chair and put me on hold to ask her manager. She then came back and said the seat does not have predrilled holes. After engaging in a healthy debate with her about how ridiculous that is. I asked her how they suggest I go about doing it because it’s difficult to get leverage and it has to be installed from a difficult area/angle and the wood is extremely hard. She had no suggestions. So, you are on your own to figure it out. I would have appreciated some warning about this and some guidance on drill bit size, etc. It’s almost impossible to assemble the seat portion without having some sort of right-angle Phillips screwdriver or Phillips socket because the space you have to work in is very compact. After my son finally got the chair put together it worked great and I do like it. It’s made from very sturdy wood and I do expect that this chair will last for many years.

Ordered a small round table with raising/lowering top. Received set of three nesting rectangular side tables. Been trying for a week to contact someone to fix this but no response.

I've had such a good experience with this company. I ordered 4 barstools and a desk. I've been ordering their products for over 12 years now. I've only had one issue with the company but it was resolved within the day. The quality of their furniture goes above and beyond. I love this company and I will be a returning customer for life!

I purchased barstools from this manufacturer and just a few months after purchasing them, one broke. The welding in the base of the stool cane apart. This company told me that they only have a 30 day warranty for their products. 30 days. For furniture. I will never purchase from this company again. They clearly do not stand behind the quality of their work with only a 30 day warranty on items that costs hundreds of dollars. I have a lawn chair from the dollar store that’s still standing after 7 years but this $200 barstool didn’t last 6 months.

I bought a nice chest that was for the foot of a bed. It was missing the hardware kit. I tracked down this company and emailed their customer support. Within a day thry got back to me and had what I needed in the mail. That means and says a lot anout a company. US made also.. Thanks
