“After researching a number of upright vacuums on-line to replace my favorite Dyson, I finally decided to go to Carolina Vacuums for some expert advice. Stacey was extremely helpful in demonstrating and providing the pros and cons of each of the vacuums available. I wanted one that was easy to use; could smoothly move from carpet-to-hardwood-to-tile flooring; had a HEPA filter; was relatively quiet; and one I could easily remove the brush roller for cleaning. After talking with Stacey and making a careful selection, I chose the Sebo upright. While in the store, Stacey also demonstrated the Nellie Wow Mop which I was interested in for cleaning and polishing hardwood and tile floors. I was very impressed with the Nellie Wow Mop and purchased one the same day.If you are interested in purchasing a quality product for your carpets and floors, I would highly recommend visiting Stacey at Carolina Vacuums in Greensboro.”

“I can highly recommend McKinney Sew and Vac!This fall I took up simple sewing again because some friends meet once a week to work on individual sewing projects.I purchased a fairly simple new Singer sewing machine at JoAnn’s in Winston-Salem. Of Course, I’ve had to go back several times for instructions (not on internet instructions) and the McKinney employees are always helpful and kind. They never have charged me even though I got an inexpensive machine!In fact, I’ve liked them so much, I plan to go to their shop in Greensboro for a vacuum cleaner. (Instead of WalMart!)I can’t explain it really but there was something so special, so meaningful to me to purchase something from a business where you could really talk to people about the product. I can highly recommend the thread also! My hats off to McKinney Sewing and Vac!”

“Nelly, was so awesome she helped us find exactly what we needed and even found her boss Sean to see if he could help us as well! OF COURSE HE DID! The delivery men were so patient and kind! So caring/ respectful of my house to not scratch up walls or anything! They even turned on the dryer to make sure nothing was wrong! 10/10 recommend! GO FIND YOUR DEAL ASAP!”

“While cleaning my vacuum cleaner, I lost a screw. Bissell wanted me to buy a whole new part and the screw wasn’t a traditional size. I went to the Vacuum Center and they were able to get the right screw for me within minutes. Highly recommend!”

“Bain finished installing a heating and air package unit for our house today. I bought my house 8 years ago. The ac has always run constantly in the summer, mostly without getting the house to the temperature set on the thermostat. It died a week ago yesterday, and when I called after hours, a tech was on site in less than an hour. I wasn't happy with the price, but I got three estimates, Bain was inline with the others, and they gave me more detail about issues with climate controlling my specific residence than anyone else. Unlike the others, they gave me a written quote and their estimated completion of installation was within 3-4 business days of signing. They finished almost a full day early (estimated 2-2.5 days, completed in 1.5 days), and this is the first time since I moved in that the outside temperature was 90, and it's under 80 inside. They left everything clean, and everyone I interacted with was knowledgeable and professional. Every Bain employee that came to our house was on-time or early.As much as I hate the price (again, no worse than their competitors), I'm very happy with the customer service, work, and installation time.”

“After a discouraging morning of shopping at the big box stores for an oven... We went to Queen City. We were greeted by great sales guy Dave Webb, he showed us our possibilities and we were able to look at 3 of the top choices from Consumer Reports at the store. The prices with the delivery and take away were less than those prices at the big box stores. We purchased a unit and Dave made arrangements for it to be delivered the following day! The installers arrived on time and were efficient and professional! They went out of their way to make sure the oven was installed, level and working properly.”

“For the past 2 months, I have been trying to get my battery replaced for a Ryobi electric string trimmer. Let's just say it hasn't been resolved until I met Rosa, who handled my issue like a pro! Today was the day that I have had enough with the run around, and was ready to give everybody the business, as customer service kept placing me on hold for 30 minutes plus. While on hold I decided to drive to my local store where I spoke to 3 friendly staff members who tried and were empathic to my situation. Long story longer, we called 2 different stores, and submitted a claim that showed that I am covered. The claim didn't submit, and I am still waiting to get my battery replaced. Then Rosa let me know that she was able to get some traction, and to visit another store to get my issue resolved. Please recognize Ms. Rosa at the S. Elm-Eugene store at a manager above all others that will get the job done! She was a pleasure to work with. Now I am headed to get my battery replaced. Thank you Rosa for your hard work, and great customer service!”

“Finally......my expectations for big box home improvement stores finally comes true. I was on a mission to obtain an adjustable workbench ( sturdier and cheaper than a sit/ stand desk) for my home office. As I searched the toolbox area, Amy made eye contact and immediately came to my rescue. She started by asking if I needed assistance and continued to show interest in my search. Amy was simply amazing. She provided exceptional customer service by locating the product, assisting the forklift driver and making sure we were able to load the product into our car. I saw one guy near me, but I thought he was a customer. Turns out, he worked there. He walked off without saying a word. I saw him later helping someone else out. I got help from another guy, but once again, I was feet away from him. He didn't say a word. I had to say excuse me. What brought the stars up on my review was the painting department. He approached me to ask if I needed help. The paint specialist was so knowledgeable and helpful. He listened to me and got me what I needed for my project. I really appreciated his help. Everything he suggested was exactly what I needed. I really wish I got his name. He is really good at his job. The check out clerk was kind as well. She was quick and greeted me friendly. I'll try this location again.”
