Today, Sunday 12/10/2023, I was in this store at around 10:30. The woman working at the register was too busy scanning her lottery ticket with her phone to even acknowledge my presence. After she scanned her ticket, she messed on her phone some more, while I waited. She finally scanned my items, then went back to her phone. I had to wait longer for her to press the button for debit. All total, it took at least three times as long as it should have. This is not the first time this same person has acted in an unprofessional manner. A week ago, this same woman cussed a customer just because the customer asked if anyone was working. After the customer left, the employee told her boyfriend, who went to the parking lot to try to confront the customer. I understand that people need a bathroom break, but this kind of treatment for a person that wants to spend money in your store in intolerable. Is this a good example of your standard of customer service? My family spends $200 per week in this store. That ends today. Until some action is taken to change this woman's attitude, or relieve her of her duties, I will be taking my business elsewhere.

The store supposed to be open till 9 o'clock I just went by there at 730 The lady who works there is sitting down eating she has a sign on the door that says closed for a lunch be right back Ridiculous

I was going fishing and I went to my local market basket to go get some Shiners but I was hungry knowing that I hadn't eaten much since 4:30 I decided to walk up to the food counter and said I wanted biscuits and southern style chicken with a coke this tall "HE" thing walked up to the counter and said "I needed to wait" there wasn't a soul in miles I waited and waited by the time I knew it I was there for an hour and half I walked up to the counter said Where is my food and turns out she was on her phone for the entire time ? I was mad luckily the cashier was able to get my Shiners ON TIME and I'd even tipped her I left and said to myself "You'll have that on them big jobs™"

Jerry the RAT a small rodent that likes deer corn and ice cream and his favorite food is donuts 2 donuts out 5 live dog near food really up set me you know Employees are hateful and are out side one cashier bad at her job still worries me that rodents are crawling on my food MOST OF THE TIME I won't be back

I was at this store this morning after picking my son up from third shift. We ate breakfast in parking lot the entered the store and went to restroom and made a purchase. I had to ask for help and was spoken to very rudely by the manager. My son and I went back and waited in the parking lot because we had an appointment at the hair salon next door. I didn't want to block the stores parking so I decided to move to the side of the building next to the Southern Belle Salon. I had stayed in parking lot because my drive was 40 minutes from home so we was just going to wait for the appointment. Next thing I know I had gotten the cops called on us like we were doing something wrong. I don't appreciate this type of treatment from a store manager and I will never enter your store and make a purchase again. Again thanks for showing me what kind of store you are. GOOD JOB sounds like you are losing lots of customers new and old because of new management from reviews posted.

Been going there for years,has always been a good experience until this new manager. She is rude and very hateful. I never have been treated so badly from a manager. Also if you have a question on something and call the building no one will pick up or its busy for hours, once I went in and seen her talking on the phone on personal issues I understood.

I worked here for less than a week. It is honestly the most unprofessional place I’ve ever dealt with. During my interview the manager was eating and spit food in my face every time she spoke. I bit my tongue because I really needed the extra money so I thought this job would be a great idea. Not even two days that I worked she wanted me to run the store by myself and I told her I wasn’t ready to take on that responsibility and she refused to have someone work with me to continue my training. My fiancé got a job there way before I did and worked 7 days a week with never asking a day off. One day I had a family emergency and he told her he wouldn’t be able to make it that night and she went ballistic. He ended up going in that night and she wrote him off the rest of the week, IN THE MIDDLE OF THE WEEK! He asked her reasoning and she said if you need off you need to give a notice. She never told him if she took him off the schedule. He would clock in and do his job and customers would ask him why he’s at work because the manager would talk about him being fired. I am so glad that we’re done with that place.

Market basket has been "my store" since moving to the Grace chapel community I always love to go in there as I've always been given a very welcoming feeling. however, this morning was an experience I hope I never have to endure again or no other customer has to. the two ladies that were working the deli and the cash register seem to be in very bad moods or arguing with each other our friend from Connecticut moved here a month ago and we always talk about the great bologna sandwiches from there in the mornings well he came to work early this morning just to get one he was sadly let down and disappointed. the food was good but customer service was AWFUL!! THERE AREN'T BOLOGNA SANDWICHES SET OUT AS OTHER BISCUITS MY FRIEND WANTED A BOLOGNA SANDWICH THE LADY WITH THE LONG HAIR AND GLASSES LITERALLY ROLLED HER EYES AT HIM BECAUSE SHE HAD TO GO MAKE ANOTHER SANDWICH I DID NOT HAVE MY GLASSES ON BECAUSE I HAD MY SUNGLASSES ON FROM THE EARLY SUN RISING I ASKED THE LADY ARE THESE THE CUPS THAT ARE $0.89 SHE LOOKED AT ME LIKE I WAS A COMPLETE IDIOT AND SAID WELL NONE OF THEM ARE $0.89 THERE 99 AND ROLLED HER EYES AT ME I WAS SO EMBARRASSED!!! I was very disappointed, shocked and down right offended this morning. The behavior of the two ladies working is unacceptable unprofessional and downright mean. if you don't like working with the public and realize that your smiling face and kind gesture could be the only one that person may receive that day, you need another job. These 2 ladies embarrassed me for recommending to my friend that he must shop there. I'm really upset with myself for allowing them 2 negative nancys to ruin my morning like they have but it really has l!l!! I hope you ladies have a better day and not to forget that you have a public job and having an attitude and negative vibe around you makes other people feel that way too......

Parking is okay but if you go when it's busy it gets really packed. They do have deals sometimes better than Walmart and I do like that. Gas prices stay a little higher than everyone else but it is good gas. 3 stars! âï¸âï¸âï¸
