On Jan. 24th I posted a status asking for recommendations on good shops to do some paint work on my vehicle. Someone recommended Classic Auto Body in Granite Falls.
Feb. 5th I dropped my car off to have it worked on.
Feb. 14th I got told my car was ready to be picked up.
Feb. 16th went & picked my car up for the first time. It was not sunny this day & had been cloudy.
Feb. 17th I had brought to the shops attention along with pictures of runs, ripples, & splotches in the paint on the parts they had painted. Along with my driver side window tint got scratched up. Got an apology and was told to bring the car back for it to be corrected. (I understand things happen sometimes so I wanted to give the shop a second chance).
Feb. 22nd my car was ready to be picked back up. It was hard to tell on parts of the car if it had been fixed or not because there was still buffing compound on parts of the car. I took the car home, washed it so I could get a better look at the paint job.
Feb. 23rd contacted the shop again. Picture were sent once more. Got told yet again to bring the car back for the THIRD time.
Feb. 24th I took my car to a different body shop to get another opinion on the work that had been done. The body shop had told me for it to be fixed correctly that the parts on the car would have to be sanded down & repainted due to all the imperfections being under the clear coat. I contacted @classic auto body to express my concerns and see if I could at least get a partial refund due to it not being up to mine OR even another body shops standards after giving them two chances already.
Please read the screenshots & be careful who you do business with so you don’t end up getting burned like I did & having to pay double for another shop to fix Classic Auto Body mistakes‼️‼️‼️
