Talked to the salesman two times earlier in the week about a truck. Was going to look at a truck and make an offer. Salesman called me the day of and said owner refused to sale truck to someone from out of state. If you are from another state I wouldn't bother with this dealer.

Hopefully we're not in a position to need another car again but if that happens, we will return here. Sales manager seems to be honest guy and definitely didn't pressure us to buy anything. I would recommend this place to friends.

Hi , this is Chip the manager of West Elm Motors . We have been in business for almost 25 years here and I have been with the company for just about 21 myself . We don't always get it right ( they are used cars ) but we ALWAYS TRY. Obviously we do it right some of the time seeing you see only two negative reviews on here . For what it's worth it's always unfortunate when a customer has a problem and I am asked on a regular basis ( for good reason ) is this going to be a reliable car . I have NEVER in all my years answered YES to that question. My answer is ALWAYS .. I wish I could answer that question for you but I'm not a genie .You are more than welcome to take the vehicle to a local mechanic and have it checked out prior to purchase if you'd like . Also we offer a 90 day 3000 mile power train warranty ( main components in transmission and engine ) included in the asking price of the vehicle. In the two cases below one vehicle was sold as is and the other had problems that we tried and tried to fix but were having problems getting it done but we were trying. The owner got tired ( and I understand her frustration ) and would not bring it back anymore. She turned the car into the finance company . I am sorry these people had a bad experience truly but we always try to help even if the car is sold as is . It's a very tough business so we can only say we will never turn our backs on you and as I said have your mechanic check the vehicle out. Weather you buy from us or someone else . Hope you all have a nice experience buying ( no matter where you buy ) and to the two posting negative reviews ..we are sorry .

I highly recommend West Elm Motors. Although we did not purchase a vehicle from there, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone. They are incredibly nice and not pushy and will let you take the vehicles to local mechanics for a diagnostic. They have a variety of vehicles and prices also, which is a plus.

I went to the lot to see a Maxima that the owner told a friend of mine that he just got. We could not test drive it due to a few repairs that needed to be done. I was told by the salesman that he would call when it was ready to be test drove. I got a call a few days later, I was told there was a sensor that was on and the head gasket cover was leaking and it would all be fixed and I could come test drive it in a few days. I went to finally test drive it and noticed a knocking on the right front tire side. The salesman said the mechanic would fix it. A strut i believe he said it was. The car drove great and was cosmetically well takin care of. The car is a 1997 maxima with 141,000 miles. $2500. I thought! I was getting a good car, with all the repairs they SAID they fixed. Boy was I wrong. I do understand that it is a gamble when you buy a used car! On the 10th day of having this car i was stranded at 9o'clock at night on a dark back road on my way home from work. The head gasket had leaked so much oil onto the alternator it went out. I called West Elm Motors and spoke with the salesman about the issue, I was told by the owner to bring it back. We got the car up there, they replaced the alternator (i paid $20 for it, they did me a favor ) and I was told by the salesman they would not do about else to the car. I'm the 30th day of having the car and noticing all the oil that has leaked on my driveway and the knocking back on the right side, I took it to my own mechanic. The strut and the head gasket cover were never fixed! Oil was leaking all over the alternator again and obviously, they just lubed up the strut. I would never recommend trusting this place!! If you are considering a car from West Elm Motors, PLEASE have a mechanic check it out first!! I learned the hard way!! Again, I understand it's a gamble with a used car, however I was told things were going to be fixed that were not! Very very disappointed!

Bought a car that had a warranty! Great! Not...car was brought back several times to be “fixed†until the warranty ran out and nothing was fixed! They don't respond to calls! DO NOT TRUST THE OLD MEN WITH THE WARRANTY! Talking to others I've found I'm not the only one!
