I looked up online deer processing and found Uzzell’s and read the reviews. They looked good so I took a chance on them and boy, I’m glad I did!!!!Some of the best deer sausage I’ve have ever had!!!! I came all the way from Nash county and glad I did. Will definitely use again!!!! Good folks!!

Just discovered this place last year and so glad we did. They are very friendly, easy to communicate with, reasonably priced and clean. The sausage has great flavor and my husband is addicted to the snack sticks! Worth the drive!

Paid in full last year at drop off. Was a small buck. I had my brother in law pick up the meat maybe 2-4 days after it was ready, because I was out of town. They said that it would be okay, then he showed up and they said I only paid a small deposit, so he paid extra, then paid a late/holding fee.. Everything else was perfect, The meat was great, packaged flawlessly, I just got ripped off.

Edit for 2022 - now they sell seafood! ?Uzzell's is a completely indoor facility with different rooms for cleaning animals and packaging meat. They have recently expanded the facility to increase capacity. They've also added smokers for the 2020 season and now offer summer sausage, snack sticks and jerky!Meat is vacuum sealed, no freezer paper here!We've had deer and bear processed here and the work is great, the prices are great, and the sausage is delicious!

I brought a 165 lb dressed out deer to this place for processing. When I picked up the deer a week later I was shocked that there was such a small amount of meat. I weighed it when I got home and all there was: 40lbs. 40lbs of meat is all they got out of a thick 165lb deer. And that includes packaging and the freezer bags I had it in. 20 lbs of hamburger and the rest was cuts for $150. $150. I double lunged this deer so there was no loss from trauma. When I spoke to the owner I was advised that this was a normal amount from a deer in NC. They actually told me that the deer are different here than in other states. Seriously? I have hunted for years and never had an issue like this before in the state I moved from. I should have gotten at least 70lbs of meat off of this animal. I cooked a bottom roast (which was only 1.5 lbs) last night and before it could be cooked it had to be washed due to the amount of hair on the meat. I will never bring another deer here or anywhere else, I will be processing the next one myself. I would not recommend this place in light of my experience with them. They do package nicely but losing half a deer definitely isn't worth it. Every other person I used to hunt with said the exact same thing: I got screwed here and it will absolutely never happen again.

First time using this processor. They forgot to save the heart & liver on a clean headshot deer, but they replaced both by the next day. Honest mistake and they answered with integrity. Will come to them again in the future. Medium sausage was delicious!

Was super easy, pulled up they got the dear out of my car and I went in the shop and told the guy what I wanted. The whole thing took maybe 10 minutes and he was super friendly. Leaving another review with 5 stars once I try the meat.

My first time there was tonight and I was treated like family, great atmosphere, great guys. They caped my buck for the taxidermist and cleaned it while I was there, A+ facility and people for sure.
2020 Season Update: A+ Once again, Brad and his team are top notch and the product shows it. You get your meat back too which is a huge plus! I had 5 deer processed here this season and cannot recommend enough!

Drove an hour out of the way to drop my deer off here. It was worth it. This is probably the cleanest feeling, looking, and smelling game processor I’ve been to. Finished product turned out great and in professionally labeled vacuum sealed bags. Highly recommend.

Best prices for everything they do. Bent over backwards to complete everything I wanted and did not cost extra, they were happy to assist. I will use them every year without question and recommend to everyone!

Proud to say I was his first customer and have been loyal since pricing it’s great and product is amazing. We love the sausage and hamburger, I can’t make it myself as good as his! This business gets a A+ from me very clean and well kept great folks!
