went in to get an inspection, owner standing in the middle of his waiting room told this gentleman he only does real car maintenance and was currently busy yet their bays were empty and nobody was on the lot. as I left I stated I would wade through his waiting customers...walked back to my vehicle...owner came screaming out of the door objecting to my wise crack... yet he has on the business' front window is the phrase in big letters... "...where you are treated like family!" [not sure I wish to be associated with his family whatsoever!

I have had all my auto inspections done here for well over 10 years now Mr Tipton is always fast and friendly. He also has a great waiting room with a big lazyboy recliner.Update I went for my vehicle inspection and he had a sign on the door saying No Nc inspections being done. May 2020

If you are in Goldsboro and you need an oil change, tires, etc, consider Tipton's. The sign says you will be treated like family and they ain't lying. Probably the nicest group of people I have ever met. Honest and dependable.
