When they installed my tank, I was sent a bill online for "set tank fee, proarted tank lease and gas in tank"
I understand the misspelling, things happen. I paid the hour of labor, prorated tank lease and for the gas in the tank.
I later received a bill in the mail for parts, 20 feet of copper line, other parts, and more labor.
I measured the amount of pipe installed, and they only used 15 feet according to my Stanley tape measure (I do know how to use a measuring tape). I called them confused as to why the second bill and the lie of how much pipe was used. Knowing that 20 feet of copper pipe wasn't used, the people at Tidewater Service told me "that's what he put in, there's nothing I can do."
They refuse to do anything about the billing discrepancy.
I would NOT recommend using Tidewater Energy unless you are there with the installers.
I have no choice but to pay twice for installation labor and for the lies about how much hardware was used.

Tidewater is a great company. I am so pleased with the service they provide. Staff is friendly and helpful. They deliver in decent time. Delivery is quick. Prices are reasonable. We have been with them for 3 years. They ca.e to us when no one else would. And they have been awesome the whole time. Try Tidewater. You will be glad you did.

I switched to Tidewater from another service. Tidewater's product and service was much more affordable and I think their service is better.

Tidewater is hands down the best LP gas provider around here. I have used their services at two different houses and never had any complaints. Any time I have used other services, it's been nothing but problems with them.

Read the reviews folks! Their people don’t know what they’re doing and can not troub..way over their heads. They refuse to make things right as well. Down right left myself and family in a dangerous situation.

Management is terrible and very unprofessional. Tell you they will call you back but don't. Zero communication when there are issues. Have used them for 9 years and only started having issues when the seven springs location closed. The management and staff there was so much better.

Customer service is clearly not a priority god forbid you ask for service and the lady who answer the phones responds with but we would have to make a special trip lol how about you service the people who pay your paycheck!!!!!!

If you want antiquated service, this is your best bet. If you want to wonder and guess if someone will respond, you have found the right place. If you want to pay more for less, you are in luck! If you want a “business” that has only one employee that can answer questions, you have found your dream small time inadequate propane company. Lastly, if you want a companies inadequacies blamed on you, look no further. If you have absolutely no other options, call Tidewater now and they might, possibly, someday, kinda, get back to you. You will pay at least 20% more than the opposition charges. Don’t wait, call now. How exciting!!!

Bought a house which had their tank on my property. I called to have it removed a month ago. It's still on my property and I need it gone and was hung up on by their desk peasant because its Saturday and considered "after hours". Just put a note on the books, lady. Get it together

If I could give them negative stars I would. The rudest people that I have ever spoken to. I would never deal with them. There are many other companies out there. I will not let them give me a bad impression of Goldsboro. I was surprised that when they picked up their ugly never painted tank that they even dig up the bricks it was on. Are they that desperate?

Called them to top off our tank for the generator prior to the hurricane and they came and serviced it the same day! Awesome customer service!
