Let me tell you, folks, Marissa at Sport Clips is incredible—truly the best. I've had a lot of haircuts, and believe me, no one does it better. She’s got the best techniques, the best style. People are always asking me where I get my hair done, and I tell them, it’s Marissa. She’s a winner, believe me. Five stars, absolutely tremendous!

I signed up at 11:35am to be on the list. At 12:05pm I received a text with a 15 minute estimate for arrival to see Marissa. At 12:20pm I got another text saying I’m on deck while I was already checked in and in the store. I walked out at 12:51pm because of the lack of professionalism as the scheduled stylist went to the back 5 minutes prior and was nowhere to be found. Also the amount of gossip and unprofessional conversations for EVERYONE to hear in the building were ridiculous. I’m not one to complain but I’ve never seen such an unprofessional SportsClips in the 8 years I’ve been going to them! I will never come back to the Goldsboro location.

I went with my Husband to go get his haircut at this establishment. He wound up having Marissa cut his hair. Marissa is very knowledgeable about her cuts and products. But the biggest thing that made our visit so enjoyable, not only was she speaking with my husband and laughing and cracking jokes, but she was doing it with her coworkers and their clients as well! everyone was having a good time! I don’t see this at many salons. She has such a great personality! The staff at this location are great! The next time my husband and I are in town, we will most definitely be stopping by for a haircut with Marissa! She is a true gem to this establishment!

Haircut I received was nothing like the reference photo I showed. Instead of a fade they just shaved the side of my head over an inch above my ear. If you want a place that does your hairstyle like you want do not go here. If you're ok with the hair style at taking creative freedom to do whatever they want with your hair this is the place!

Ok so I went to get a trim, the wait was a little long, longer than I like. Arrived at 6:15pm checked in, was seated at 7:40pm. Should have a floater working from time to time. All I was after was a neck shave, I was looking for the 2 stylist I have used before, They were not working, so I went with another, I was a little hesitant at first, I asked for a light trim, neck shave. She had a great since of humor, calmed me right down. This lady is very professional, she knows her products, she gave me the works. Man that was nice to. Again, sports clips you have some real gems in Sydney, Amy, Lori. I now have 3 people at this facility I will trust with my head… ! The stylist was Sydney! I would recommend Amy, Sydney, and/or Lori for your next cut. Sydney thank you for the fantastic hair cut, hope you ladies have a great day!
Stylist: Sydney was awesome, I will recommend her! I feel now I have 3 hair stylist. She is very polite, knowledgeable about the cuts, about the products she uses. Thank you again Sydney!

Hi, this was my 3rd time going to this location, I didn't leave a reveiw for the first 2 visits. However, I am going to elaborate for all 3 visits in this reveiw.
1st visit I was greeted professionally by Mrs. Amy, she helped me sign in. This lady cut my hair and styled it. It was amazing. Amy has very extensive knowledge about being a hair stylist and the products that she used. She was pleasant and genuinely cared for me as a customer. However, with speaking with other employees, some were rude and did not want to engage in talking.
2nd visit I was greeted by Mrs. Amy again, and like before, she helped me sign in. Amy once again blew me out of the water with the services that were provided from Sports Clips.

Everything was going well until..... in my world, the manager walked up and asked me to rate her employee, I found this unprofessional and cause me to question if I wanted to come back.
The 3rd visit i was greeted by Mrs. Amy, again. she asked if I had signed in already, and she helped me sign in, I asked for a different person to cut my hair. While I was waiting for my turn, I am guessing it was the manager, she was checking a customer out and asked him to fill the survey on the bottom of the receipt and to give her a 10 star reveiw. Another hair stylist was waiting to check her customer out, and im guessing it was the manager she told that customer to give that stylist a 5 star reveiw. I am so blown away with that! I was able to get my hair cut from Mrs. Lori is very professional, knowledgeable, and genuinely care about me as the customer. Both Mrs. Amy and Mrs. Lori has always treated me with the up most professional respect any person could ask for. If I go back I will be looking for Mrs. Amy or Mrs. Lori. They really rock at the hair cuts.
Take as you will. This is just what I saw while I was here.
Hair type: Bit sure about my hair type, but, I have been shaving my head for the last 26 years and decided to grow it out. 1st cut, Mrs. Amy cut and styled, numerous compliments on my hair.
2nd cut, Mrs. Amy cut and styled, numerous compliments on my hair.
3rd cut, Mrs. Lori cut and styled, numerous compliments on my hair.
Stylist: Mrs. Amy and Mrs. Lori, these are the 2 I will recommend. Sport clips has them some real gems with these 2 people.

The wait times are ridiculous. Even if you make an appointment online, you're still going to be sitting and waiting a while because it's so freaking busy! And they refuse to build another one in the city, So I just go elsewhere.

Checked in online and had a 45 minute wait. So I get to the store 5 minutes prior and I had to wait an additional 20 minutes until I was on deck. Someone jumps in front of me saying they forgot to cut his top. I waited another 10 minutes being on deck before I left. They are too busy talking to each other instead of cutting hair.

Hannah is great at what she does??I appreciate her so much! Feel kind of bad that I was the last customer there, but she made sure that I was satisfied with my haircut and I’ll definitely go get my haircut from her for now on?.

Make sure to schedule ahead or the wait will be ridiculous. Been here twice didn't review on first visit. Both times I got a young in-experienced person. One was still in school she said. The results were horrible. I had to go to my regular person to fix the 2nd cut. I like the business model think it is interesting and the services are not too expensive if you use a coupon. They need to work on the personnel quality for me to go back.
