What started out as an absolutely horrible morning on the phone with Hertz’s call center ended in a truly and honestly delightful surprise — and with a happy customer — thanks to Jessica at Hertz Goldsboro.Jessica, who is the local agent here it seems, was an absolute pleasure to work with. She gave me a call after Hertz’s call center processed my claim (which was an awful experience but…) and made me feel at ease from just her kindness and collegiality on the phone. She assured me on a busy holiday weekend that she’d have a car for me, and was very kind and inviting toward me even though I admittedly was a little frustrated overall.When I arrived at the Hertz, I was so delighted to see that it was her at the desk, and she even remembered me from our phone call. She made me laugh from the moment I got in the door, had me in and out of the office within 30 mins with keys in my hand, and even went so far as to take me outside and helped me check out each of the cars she had available to make sure they met my standards.She also was incredibly knowledgeable in explaining the rental process, costs, etc. and answered all the questions I had perfectly.Jessica is a true gem at Hertz. She — the sole person in the office at the time might I add — is the reason this location is a 5 star Hertz in my view. From start to finish, she was amazing.

Staff were not only friendly but extremely considerate. I usually rent through Enterprise, but I think I'll rent through these fine folks from now on.

These ppl are rude. They look at you with a stare like asking what are you doing here in the office.....Don't even greet the customers, they can't even give you accurate information regarding rentals. They say it's best if you call the 800 # because it's more accurate. So, why are they even there for? That lady, cause there's a guy there, too. Has a tone, like we didn't belong. They don't even have a sign of HERTZ. You have to be asking around the car dealership. I mean, this woman seemed upset because I was there trying to get information. She seemed bothered to do her job. Even though it was me, the only customer at that time! Don't waste your time and gas going to this place that clearly don't want to help you and tell you that the system is not accurate, and so you are best off calling the main #... Smh

I've rented cars from this location several times. Always quick and easy. Went to a competitor in Smithfield once because it was closer to me. Waited 2 hours for my rental and never went back. Jessica is great and the other employees are friendly and helpful too.

In and out.. I picked up in Raleigh and dropped off here. Had no issues. You have to enter into the service center to find the office, there are no signs.. add some signs and this would be a 5 star review

If you can avoid this location please do. On the day I went for my pickup, I was not the only one to have issues with them to get a vehicle. However, regarding my case, I reserved a full-size vehicle that is a Camry or similar. The lady there (I won't say any names) told me that an SUV they had was considered a car. If J wanted an SUV I would've reserved one. With that being said, they were not able to get me something that I reserved. So I just canceled the entire reservation. To my surprise, I was still charged for the reservation even though the cancellation was confirmed. I received a bill after the rental period thanking me for my reservation, also stating that I took the SUV, the number of miles I got it with, and the number of miles I returned it with. I was shocked because I never stepped foot inside this vehicle. The funny thing is. Who drives an exact 300 miles on a rental from Hertz??!!

There are a lot of negative reviews here, but I think it’s people being picky.Yes, Diamond is fantastic.No, the location isn’t hard to find. It’s IN the Chevy dealership.The car was clean.Google has the wrong number listed, she’s happy to give you contact information.Her co-worker was a regular riot.They made the whole process easy and enjoyable.There are only 2 employees so give Grace and have patience. Kindness goes a long way and both employees were kind and helpful, especially given the tools and resources their corporation is providing them with.

Hertz office is in a tiny cubicle in the back of the Chevy dealership. You have to walk back through the service bay to get to the door to their hallway. We went in the main entrance at first and received an attitude for not knowing they were hiding the Hertz from us. My gf told them I had the keys in the car since we weren’t sure where to leave it and they said “oh so I have to walk to get the car?”. Seriously unprofessional. Not to mention the address on the website is old, they moved to the Chevy dealership 9 months ago and still have no signage whatsoever telling you it’s there so there’s no way you’d know it’s there.

Diamond at hertz rental car at 3330 highway 70.. In the chevy dealership was so professional and helped me with everything for my rental and it went smoothly..I had a bad experience at enterprise in kinston where I live the day before..and it put me behind on the trip I was supposed to make. But when I came in she was so professional and hurried up and got me on my way! Its so hard to find good customer service anymore but I want to thank her so much! If you every need a rental i would recommend this place I have been a long time faithful member of enterprise whenever I needed a rental car would always go there but never again! I will forever be a hertz customer! Thanks diamond!! We need more people like you!

Charged me for gas that wasn't in the car instead of looking on tag how much gas was in the car they did admit the mistake but two weeks passed along with keeping the 50 dollar deposit and charging 38 for the gas that wasn't in it starting out not to mention was really hard to find location is at chevy dealership for those who wish to use

Unprofessional is the least I can call this place! Booked a 7 seater weeks ago, received three confirmation text messages saying everything was OK with the rental, but on the pickup day the lady said they don’t have a 7 seater… She said too that she couldn’t call me because they didn’t have my full phone number, yet I’ve been receiving their text messages all along, plus the online application required my email. They could’ve sent me an email… Wow I can’t believe people think you are that stupid.Trashy service, won’t ever do business with them again!!! ZERO stars they deserve!
