This is the most expensive gym membership in Goldsboro and doesn’t provide near enough equipment for a solid workout. It needs better management and the facility needs better care. The men’s jacuzzi is disgusting. This pic doesn’t do it justice because there was a gray, dirty film on top.

States they close at 8:30pm. Rushed across town to get there at 8:00 pm to walk for thirty mins. The scanners was put up and they told me they close workout areas and gym at 8:15. Well if that’s the case they need to change the hours to 8:15 because there is nothing left to do there if all the areas are closed.

Not a fan. Literally tried to get a guest pass and they said I am not allowed to use the daycare without having a membership which is absurd and have never heard that anywhere. Then proceeded to fill out all the paperwork and wasn’t told this till the end. Thanks.

This is one of the most horrible YMCAs ever. The employees treat their visitors and each other like sub-human garbage and most of the facility doesn't properly function. They accuse people and spread untruthful rumors like they want to get rid of people.These guys need to be reported NOW!!!

Evidently Patrick Eason is an idiot and doesn't know what he is talking about. I have been to several YMCA locations around NC and think Carl is one of the best Aquatic managers I have seen yet. I would defiantly recommend the Goldsboro YMCA pool to anyone

Great place to go and get a good workout. Hot tub, jacuzzi, hot steam room and showers are available. Great indoor swimming pools, one is a heated therapeutic pool and the other is Olympic size. Indoor track. Huge basketball courts. Plenty of things to choose from.

Im reporting this place to the consumer protection agency. The aquatics director, Carl, a mechanic who wasn't qualified for the position when hired, never returned my calls or answered any of my questions regarding LGI or WSI classes. I see it as an individual stopping me from moving forward; trying to hold me back from opportunity . . For his job security? Shame, shame!!!!! No wonder his aquatics program felt dead as a door nail when I went over there. It's disappointing for anyone that has a passion for aquatics that wants to grow in the industry. For Carl, it's just a job, nothing more. He needs to hand the job over to not only someone that's more qualified, but also someone that sees it as more than a job, like Darren Goroski. Its too bad Darren Goroski isn't in charge anymore. He was the absolute best ever!!!!! The Y was full of life back during Darren's years of management.

Worst attitude ever. Literally walked in the work out room with my younger daughter to tell my oldest daughter it’s time to go. The biggest Karen who had the worst attitude starting telling me “leave, you! Leave now, you need to get out of here.” When I said “I’m about to, I’m trying to get my daughter”. She said “I don’t care, it’s simple leave”. Then proceeded to stare us down, rolling her eyes until we all left.

So glad to hear you respect our girls and women’s privacy and have separate locker rooms for male and females, and a unisex option. Wish all of your YMCA locations would follow suit!

The YMCA is a friendly place to visit. They have numerous options to work out. Also I like to enroll my kids in the sports programs.
