This office has helped my family care for three different pets over a period of 20(+) years. They've also helped us say goodbye to all three of them. I have always received nothing less than experienced professionalism, from the front of the office to the back. I've had to hear some hard truths over the years, but always with great compassion - As if my pets were as dear to them as they were to me. That's important to me. The most calming and reassuring thing I have ever heard a veterinarian say is, "If this was my dog/cat, I would start here (a tx option)." I have never thought to myself they were after my money. I could trust they would start with conservative treatment, rule out the small stuff, and tell me what I needed to hear in a way I could understand, without judgement. I was given tx options that ran the gamut from ideal, textbook options, to the most economically practical treatment options.
This office flourishes because they do good work. Oftentimes, the bigger the office gets, the less personal and professional the service becomes. That has not been the case with Berkeley Veterinary Clinic. I don't ever want to own a pet without them by my side, caring as much for its well-being as I do.

I took my puppy here for his first visits in 2011 and they took great care of him. fast forward 13 years, they took good care of him the whole time. he has had most of his care with them except when we lived out of state, and even had a couple surgeries with them.
they were there for us last week when we made the painful decision to put our dog out of his pain. Dr Wilder was so kind and compassionate and made the whole awful thing much easier.

We had to put our dog down today but the staff was very pleasant. One of the ladies even brought a blanket in so that my wife could lay down on the floor with her during this difficult time. The doctor was also sorry for us while taking care of her.

This place has gone bad fast good vets but poor office staff Alex James please take a shower you stink. Lisa stop covering for her. I do hope the vets realize what is going on before it's too late.

I have used this clinic since I moved here in 2017. I have sadly had 2 animals put to rest at their facility, but the staff and vets are very kind and professional. They also send hand written cards, which is a very nice gesture.

Prepare to go broke over a simple visit. They also do not handle nervous animals well. The vet has even tried giving us meds to give our dog ahead of time and they never work.

They are always so nice, book you in quickly, and I never feel rushed by the vet like I have in other clinics
