Had out home packed for a military move from San Diego, and our stuff looks like they shoved it in a box and stomped on it. The high value stuff like tvs were fine, but everything else was treated like trash. Books literally folded in half to fit in a box, pictures crumpled up in the middle of boxes. Awful awful pack job.

Driver: JJ and helper: Harley were extremely efficient and effective. Entire truck load was off loaded and everything put where I asked them to.

Their insurance does not cover your possesions unless they pack it or you pay extra on top of an already expensive move. The up front explanation is vague and misleading. The claims process is arduoussince they don't tell you to keep damaged boxes and box numbers beforehand. Take photos, keep and don't repair anything or you won't get reimbursed.

BEWARE: It’s not customer first for these companies its revenue first!My concern after this experience was that Berkin puts revenue over customer satisfaction. In my view, Berkins uses their contact to hide behind their failures.I have moved several times in my career using Bekins or their subsidiary. This last move was the worst experience I have ever had they damaged more than $8000 dollars and what I got in return was 60 cents per pound equaling $900 dollars. Their reasoning was I should have bought the insurance to cover the value! Why would I need insurance if I am paying professionals $18,000 to move my home?Every company I have done business with contractors, maintenance, dealership, repairs, etc. all guarantee their work. NOT Bekins.I hold no grieves with my sale representative he did everything correctly but Berkins and the fly-by-night operation that moved us never again. In the world of business, a little faith and gratitude make a company strong and sustainable.What I expect from this review is an auto statement I am sure says: sorry for your loss that is not how we do business” BS revenue before customer satisfaction!

Thankfully the larger van lines who hired Bekins was able to fire them before my move. The person in “Agency Development” was extremely rude and unprofessional. When I told them I did not appreciate how they were speaking to me, they replied with a threat to “call the base inspector” since it was a military move. Very unprofessional and sad.

Tom C along with his NY & NC CREW WERE 5 star seamless professionals 9900lbs of stuff moved motorcycles tools etc.. its theee only company i recommend ..

My HH goods have been in storage for a year, and soon will be moved out, so I wanted to drop a review for the staff there who have been so helpful, answering questions, working with me on payments, and just being top of the class in customer service. I could even say that Robin is a personal friend of mine now, with all the times we have spoken on the phone!! Thank you for making my life a little easier during this complicated time.

Excellent company. They have been around for awhile we have used them multiple times and will continue to use them. Never once a problem in years. Bekins is a really good company.
