“I came across Carolina Pine trying to find the best price on two gallons of General Finishes topcoat. There were some complications shipping to my state, but they were very helpful in working with me to resolve the issue where a lesser shop might have given up and offered me a refund instead.They ended up having 8 quarts drop-shipped, which arrived quickly. I had to pay a little more, but it was far less than it would have been if I ordered 8 quarts in the first place, and it was still competitive with the prices I had seen on gallons at other shops. “While this place is a bit hidden at the intersection of several major roads Berkeley/Royall/70/13/111, it is worth the search. Look for the USA Thrift and Collectibles red, white and blue signage. The store is organized by type of clothing, houseware, furniture, etc. Prices are clearly marked with tags. Since late 2022 this store has been owned and operated by a husband and wife team, Adam and Heather. We found both helpful, laidback, and low pressure. Items come from estate sales and some closeouts. Some new items, but the majority is gently used. Some are downright vintage. True collectibles like tennis shoes, vases, dishes, and comic books. Some vintage clothing and hats. Everything from books to tools. You never know what you'll find. Our big purchase today was a bar height table and chairs. Adam had it disassembled for us when we came back to get it. He patiently helped get it loaded up for us too. Thanks fri two satisfied customers!”
