We attempted to receive propane tank shipment for 3 years! There was always an excuse as to why this could not be done. Ultimately we canceled our contract an went with a local company to fill our need. The customer service was great when setting up the deliveries but there was never any deliveries made.

Amerigas is the worse gas company I have every did Business with. You have lose a Customer of over 20 years.

Twice in a row the technician hasn't show up for the appointment to fill my tank and set it up. I've been waiting for almost a month. This has been a horrible experience. Now it's in the 40s, I have no heat, and I have guests coming in from out of town. Thanks for nothing

I have received service from AmeriGas during the past 4 years. Each contact made whether for propane or gas fireplace where responded to expeditiously and the AmeriGas personnel were always competent and courteous

Awful customer service. Impossible to speak to anyone in the Goldsboro office. Am trying to get the company to connect my new gas grill to my propane tank. After working through an unfriendly menu, I was finally connected to someone with a heavy accent after about three minutes. I asked where she was and she said Charlotte. I do not believe her. Spoke with her about seven more minutes before she said that she could not hear me and hung up. Called back. Same result essentially. Unfriendly menu. Heavy accent. Was eventually disconnected while I trying to set up service. Moving my business to a local gas company as soon as I use the gas in the current tank.

As another customer, I give 1 star only because that's the only way to comment on here. No need for me to go all out with the story.. I will just spare you the junk I went through with these people. First you cant get a answer when you call. I got lucky last Thursday and a rep answered and said she would put "expedite" on my order. I got through on Tuesday this week only to be transferred to a line. That hangs up. Got in touch today.. I told her that my daddy was 90 and it was imperative that he get his propane. She said she had nothing to do with it.....so since nobody can talk with me and this shows what they think of their customers. You have lost a customer..

I gave AmeriGas a one(1) beause there was no way to give them a zero. I am on auto refill and AmeriGas let it run out twice! When I called they told me that it would cost me 300 dollars for an emergency refill. I asked to speak to the manger who told me he did not know who told me that but it was untrue and promised to get it filled that day. They never showed up! I called the headquarters and they promised it would be filled by 4:00 the next day. 4:00 o'clock came but the gas truck did not. When I called, they said they don't know who told me that (it was on a Friday) it would not be filled until the earliest at the first of the week. So here I sit, no gas stove and an no gas logs in my house with my wife and my two year. Promised everything did nothing! Don't do business with this company unless you like empty promises and no gas. Just plain lousy customer service.

Never been so disgusted with such complete disregard for their paying customers. Ordered & paid for gas online, delivery dates online say 12/8-12/17...only to be told by the customer service rep that it "should be by 12/21". Was then told it's $300 for expedited delivery, but they only do that once you run completely out of gas...so add another $70 for a safety check once you run out of gas before they fill. So that's an additional $370. So they are slowing their deliveries PAST what the online order says to intentionally cost customers $370 additional! Not only completely immoral but should be illegal! No regards for elderly, infants or disabled. All 3 of which live in my household! Save your money, time & frustration and go with someone else. Told it would be $75 to pick my tank up and asked how soon...only to be told they will pick it up sometime in the spring, so I cant even get another gas company to install a tank.

I place an order for gas on November 19th and yet to receive gas. I have called 3 times and still no gas...It has been super cold in my house with just using electric heater

The installation and the delivery of the gas was very professional. The men were very nice and pleasant to do business with. Enjoyed working with them.

I have now called them three times just to get information and still have nothing. About to give up on them.
