Playground: The playground is ok, I think they could use an update or even add more to the playground.Restrooms: They need to leave the restrooms unlocked all the time. Instead of making people use the nasty porty johns.Dog-friendliness: Now I can say it is a very nice a open place to take the fur babies out for those walks, Me and my son took ours often before she passed!!Picnic area: They have very lovely and private areas for picnics with loved ones or even by ur self, and can even rent the shelter for events, that's nice.

Ran across this place on a Day Trip Search and Soo glad I did. Amazing history and and a quality little town. Everyone we came across was pleasant, informative and genuinely good folks. We will be going back for the festivities and continuing to explore the history, and there is a lot of it. Definitely recommend for anyone that loves history and good conversation with local folks

Gold Hill is a wonderful little historic town. The people who live there treat you like family. Every Friday night they play bluegrass in the general store and at the old gas station. There are local craft stores and beautiful historic homes. There's also a museum of the old gold mine and walking trails. It's well worth a visit.

Love this little village I call home. Great restaurant experience each time at Flynn’s Village Grill. Only complaint I have and a lot of others as well is not much parking but the handicapped spots for the restaurant are hard to get out of because the coffee shop has their tables almost in the middle of the drive. They need to put them in the back or closer to the building. Flower shop is so cute and the other stores have some really cool stuff.

Adorable gem of a town tucked away near High Rock Lake. Cute shops, restaurant with beer and wine only and tons of history! Great walking trails nearby too. Highly recommend a visit.
