I drove here for the first time today. It’s 2.5 hours each way and I made the trek because they’re the only place that seems to stock baltic birch plywood right now. I bought several sheets and the employees were extremely helpful in helping me move and load it. It was a rainy day and they even wrapped it in plastic for me. It ended up pouring on me the entire drive home, but the plywood was bone dry when I unwrapped it. Very impressed with this place.

I've worked with The Hardwood Store of NC for a few personal projects, and was always satisfied with the staff knowledge and assistance. I also teach at a high school and reached out about possible discounting or other collaboration, and was told that I could receive over 1,000 pieces of lumber free of charge as a donation. This meant so much to me and my program, and we were over the moon to receive the lumber. I'll be sure to return to THS of NC any time I need lumber for my future projects!

Super great place to find exotic wood species for amazing wood projects. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Beautiful live edge slabs for all types of projects. They offer so much more than you expect to find!

I like the store. Good quality wood, well organized, and decent prices. Only complaint is the employees are not super friendly to women and will walk right past me and ignore me. It's gotten worse over the past few years where some of the friendlier employees have left. So better customer service.

Good selection ; Great in fact,for our area.Would be 5 star if there was a Rep to walk you thru and answer questions. As is I had to bother a very nice worker who was loading and cutting,for others, while putting up with my endless questions.
