These people literally scam you. I know someone who bought a car from them who clearly knew something was wrong with it and still sold it. Brought it in for them to address the issue and they say “it’s nothing” it’ll go away. They don’t care about their customers or needs.

Don't do it. Just don't do it. If I could give them zero stars, I would. They are dishonest when it comes to repairs. I took my car back stating there was something wrong with the transmission. They claim they did a trans fluid change and the problem was solved. Drove the car not even a mile away from the shop, and the same problem happened again. Took it back to them and I was still insistent it was the transmission. They supposedly changed the catalytic converter out 3 times while they had my car for 3 months. That still wasn't the problem, so they did something else to it. After them having my car for 3 months, they tell me it's done, I drive it home. Shortly after, it still continues to mess up. I have had 3 different reputable mechanics look at it, for all of them to say it's a transmission issue. Needless to say, I let them repossess the car for the 2nd time. The folks they contract do to their repossessions are also crooks, as they take your vehicle joyriding, they steal items out of the vehicles, and they trash the inside of the cars. Granted they may be easy to work with when purchasing the vehicle, but are very dishonest when it comes to "repairs". Then don't get me started on their financial record keeping - it's done on an index card, similar to how you keep a checkbook, and they are trying to tell me that payments are so many months behind, when that isn't even possible. Do NOT, I repeat, DO NOT purchase a car from Stars Auto in Gastonia.

Jet made the car buying process so easy! Helped a friend buy a vehicle from here and she couldn’t be happier with her purchase. Jet allowed us to take the vehicle to our mechanic to have it checked it out. The best part we were in and out within a couple of hours unlike spending all day at a new dealership.
