This is a very sad place the worker keep the good clothes and food for there self and are very mean to the homeless people I have seen a restaurant give food only for worked to call there family to eat

My experience for the first time didn't went well. They denied us entry. Maybe because my family is black. They say when one door closes another door is open. Wasn't what we expected. They told us to leave the property because they don't do take in on weekends which were unaware of and called the cops on us. God bless those cops who took into consideration to see I was pregnant and have a 1 year old out in the cold and brought us to the nearest motel.may God continue to protect and guide those officers.

There very helpful and very friendly and have great food except for stuff that they give you some times has nut or seeds like in the bread and or cookies or fruit like the ? and blue berries I can't have none of it My brother and mother can't either

Dropped clothes off. They don't sell your donations..they let people pick out what they need at no cost. I've been dropping items off there for years+

So far I have noticed that they're extremely understaffed which does not help the person who is in need of help. Each other girls automatically are assigned chores in which there are not enough supplies and spray bottles to have the job done efficiently. A additional mop has been asked for to clean the common areas and bedrooms aside the one used for feces in bathrooms. You are given 30 days to come with a plan that will help you gain employment and also housing, and which you are promise to be helped with first month rent and security. Being given a bed to sleep each night is a gain to anyone . That is the greatest blessing of it All . Other than that, I think that you are misunderstood because you are at a low point of your life and I was confronted by the staff and accused of having OCD because the place was filthy and mold had created in the shower areas and I took care of it and scrubbed it and was told I should not clean the windows while there were eggs and spider webs , so everyone could sleep in peace. That was the most confusing thing from the beginning and I knew after that day exactly what was going on. The staff was confused as well as the residents who did not own the building or have a key ?️?️ ?️ to their own home ?? and wanted control .

What a wonderful place for folks who are temporarily down on their luck! Staff is extremely friendly, helpful, and caring. Clothing, food, and monetary donations from the public go a long way helping to get residents back on their feet.

Son is homeless, no food, no clothes needs help just for a little while until he can get into a recovery program. He continues to get turned away for every reason, no ID, no COVID tests no this no that. They should have COVID tests there! These folks that are homeless have lost everything they don't or may not have the means to get these things. Why are you there? Gaston County has no help for people that really want help! This is truly disturbing!
