If it were possible to leave a 0 star review I would do so. A severe storm hit our town while my wife was in this store with our infant and our 20 month old. The store employees kicked her out of the store stating that it was not safe for them to be in the store during the storm. Apparently they think it is safer for a mother with two children under the age of two, to stand out in the torrential rain, lightning, and hail. For what is supposedly a “Christian” organization, this is a new low. My wife called me sobbing, terrified and unsure what to do, she didn’t feel safe crossing the parking lot with two children in her arms to try and get to our vehicle. I am absolutely disgusted by the actions of Salvation Army and I will be taking this to the larger organization and local news outlets.

The store was busy. The employees were nice. But some of the employees were stocking items & didn't seem to care that customers were trying to shop

terrible employees the owner should do better with who they choose to have work for them. The employees harass women while they shop as they attempt to hit on/flirt with the women and they do not take no for an answer as they continuously follow you around provocatively which makes it very uncomfortable also they talk to their coworkers about disrespectful unprofessional and once again provocative stuff about you blatantly in front of you I never usually leave a review on anything but this behavior is unacceptable and should be dealt with I pray it doesn't happen again and hopefully not to the wrong person as they came close this time.

Rude person on phone. I asked if you get money for giving in clothes and they seemed mad that I asked that. I told her to have a nice day and she ignored me. Like what? The clothes I have are very nice. And I felt negative energy after the phone call. Don't go here if you want to trade in clothes for money.

I happen to love these secondhand stores, I'm a collector of unique hats and printed T-shirts and its easy to find something unique here from time to time!! This particular store is located way in the back corner of Akers center. This isn't the largest of these types of stores, they do have a good bit of second hand furniture, shoes and clothes. They keep this store super clean and neat. You just got to get lucky on the right day and right time to find your personal treasures!!!!!

I never leave this store without buying something! All furniture was 40% off today, so I left with an ottoman and a china cabinet! Amazing pieces, amazing prices!
