I've been to many car wash locations, Rip Tide, in Gastonia, is by far the best. For both the quality of the wash and their customer service. The value I get for my monthly membership is so much better than the others. I was there today, used the air machine to top off my tires, but I wasn't sure how it worked. As I was drying off my car, Sean, the assistant manager was approaching each customer to see if they needed anything. I asked about the air machine, he showed me how it worked and helped me with my tires. Turns out I overfilled them. Very cool that the machine also works to remove air pressure. I've been using this car wash for over a year, I will really miss it when I leave the area.

Now I could be over exaggerating but for $22 I’d expect a pretty decent wash but after the run through I still had bird poop and even some leaves still stuck to my car, but I will say the free vacuum’s and car mat wash was pretty good, just in the end I felt like my money was a little wasted

They will mess the paint up on your vehicle. Admit that its their tire shine and do nothing. Manager admitted the problem and said not to worry he would check with his people and call me back,which he didn't!Shocker!! I went back three days later, he stated, they are NOT responsible,after admitting fault. Btw, this is a brand new car....I took my vehichle to two different body shops, both stated, they have had multiple vehicles with issues caused by this facility! If you value your vehicle, I would suggest, not using them!!

Great wash and fully supplied at vacuum station i like that each vacuum station has it's own rags and cleaning supplies and very friendly staff

Riptide is very convenient and easy to navigate through. The only thing that I don't like is the tire cleaning process. It doesn't clean my white letter tires and the tireshine doesn't cover the tires. I always have to redo them ?.

Super convenient car wash. Has free vacuums, towels, window and all purpose sprays. Staff is incredibly helpful!

I bought my package from Alyssa at the one in Dallas, she moved to the one in Gastonia so I will go try that one out. She is such a sweetie, and the package is very reasonable for unlimited washes.

We love this place the give you free towels and liquid for finish cleaning your car and aire gun. Actually vacuums work good.

To use the drive-through car wash, you are instructed to put your car in neutral and don't touch pedals. While I was going through in my vehicle, the car wash system pushed me into the car ahead of me (which I could not see at the moment since my car was covered in sudsy soap. When the employee finally saw what happened, they stopped the wash and told me they were not responsible for damage to vehicles and that I should get with the car ahead of me to figure out insurance claims. The issue is that before I could get out of the wash, the car ahead of me took off, and I was not able to go chase them down. Thankfully, the damage was minimal, but if it had been substantial, I would have been left to fend for myself. If you care about your car, don't bring it here.Also notice that instead of making changes to the business to avoid issues like this happening again such as: to add space between cars and even making sure someone is actually watching the car washing machine is functioning instead of relying on customers honking the horn to get someone's attention. Bottom line is if you check out any negative review that have this business making a mistake they always find a way to make it the customer who did something wrong or leave it up to the customer to fix the issue. This company apparently is immune from making errors or even simply implementing better operating protocols. If you had better operating procedures, my car should have never hit the car in front of me, regardless of whether they tap their breaks or not because there should be plenty of space to avoid this issue. Instead, this business will just help you make an insurance claim for their lack of professionalism? Again, if you care about your car, take it somewhere else.

I really enjoy just drive-through car wash. They have all purpose cleaner, glass cleaner and fresh towels at every station. They have a clean your mat station, free air for your tires and when you get a membership going through the membership line is so freaking easy and works so great.

The people and extras makes this the best car wash in This Region. They have towels, glass and all purpose cleaners to clean your car. They also have a mat washer. It's all inclusive. I drive from Charlotte because there are no other car washes around like this one. My car looks cleaner too.

This was first visit. I was gifted a free car wash and opted to use it today. I usually go to Sam's, but the guys there hose down my car with soap and let me go through, after. The wash my car still looks dirty. Riptide the gentleman at the front not only sprays my car down he gave it a pre-scrub and my baby look beautiful. I didn't have time to take advantage of the free towels and vacuum but I will definitely next time!
