Edited to add, the vehicle I bought, I found out at DMV has never actually had an inspection in the state of NC. It was advised by DMV by selling a vehicle without first inspecting it, is illegal. After calling in regard to this, I got yelled at for this review, told to get it inspected myself, and hung up on. There is one text asking for a 30 day payoff. Just one, which I assumed they had found since it was never brought up again.
I had an absolutely terrible ordeal with this dealership. I would never ever recommend them. Please take note of all the other one star reviews they received. I wish I had before trusting them. I have never in my life dealt with a "corporation" who spoke so degradingly and offensively to me after they had sold the car I traded in. It had no issues, they sold it immediately. I found out two months later that my trade in had not been paid off. They blamed me for taking the hit, saying they didn't receive the 10 day pay off letter. I assure you, they had it and must have misplaced it. They actually argued they were not able to pay it off because they didn't know who my previous loan had been through. Even thought the paperwork had it written in black and white who the loan was through. Why on earth would I not give them a pay off letter that was needed to pay off my car? Why would I purposely withhold information that would casue my great credit to take a first and second hit. (They blamed me for not making the payments on a car that they had)? Within a couple of days the car broke down at the children's hospital when I had to take my son to hospital. I found out that the emergency brake didn't work either. How do you drive a car off a showroom floor and it have a dead battery. They assured me it was fine, yes, they replaced the battery. I found out from my bank 2 months later they never received a payoff for the car. TWO months. They proceeded to blame me for this. No evidence exists that they didn't have the letter, which must have been misplaced or thrown out. Two copies of it existed. One in the car they had, one in the folder with check.
They went as far to tell me they had cameras in their showroom and assured me they didn't have the payoff. They told me that they would send me the missing air compressor. I still don't have it. They said they will pay for the emergency brake to be fixed (I just sent a message in regard and saw they had blocked me). Upon receiving the letter (for the 3rd time) I was told "have a good day, thank you for doing what YOU ARE supposed to do when trading in a car". I have never in my life been treated with such disrespect. And I will assure you - their response to this review will be how they couldn't pay it off without the letter, how it was all my fault, how I, as the customer, was wrong. What I did wrong. They can not and will not admit fault. They can and will not apologize for their mistakes. And they will blame you for any of their own wrong doing. To top things off, last week, I received in the mail the registration and a note to say they couldn't verify insurance, clearly there was insurance, how else would I have left the dealership? Oh, it was my fault, my bad, I didn't go to the dmv to change tags. I have never had to do anything of the sort with any other vehicle I have ever purchased. Of course this would have been taken care of. Now, not only did my credit take a hit, now I have a fine to deal with too.
This isn't a review I hate to leave, it's a review I believe should be left to forewarn you before making a purchase. You will see their scramble response. Their hatred, immaturity and you will see for yourself how they treat customers who are not happy with their service. Every other company is humble and offers an apology on such an experience. Not this one, no way, they refuse to take the blame, nothing is their fault.

John and Cassie are very nice and made the buying process fast and easy. There was a hiccup with the paperwork on their end, but John reached out to fix the issue and was very apologetic and made the situation right so it’s a good place to go to. The people at the shop are nice and will go above and beyond.

Bought a 2015 GMC Sierra from them 7 or so months ago. The truck broke down within 2 days and spent weeks at the shop. Since then has been in the shop multiple times. After a few initial phone calls Real steal refused to answer the phone or call me back.
