Harris Teeter knows Thursdays are busy because it's senior discount day. They only had 2 registers open. The 2 lines were so long I left. HR MUST plan for more cashiers. I'm switching to Publix. Wednesday is senior day there and they have numerous cashiers.

Found what we needed and more and at good sale prices. Regular prices can be high, but sale prices are often good. ...Haven't seen samples here in a long time.

Hard to get anyone on the phone and when you get thru they put you on hold. I get to the store and 5 people are behind the counter with no customers.at the counter

This store hires the best people. From teenagers to adults everyone is so nice and helpful. Of course they have top quality meat, seafood, and other foods. The butcher is top knotch with his cuts and his customer service is always on point.

Harris Teeter really needs to teach/coach and council their sub dept. The people who are employed to work in this dept are very very obviously not trained to perform their jobs to company standard ( I utilize HT sub dept in various Charlotte locations weekly). They have failed massively to have any customer service let alone professionalism. Every time (for the past 3 months) we have ordered 3+ subs. They are not made on time let alone made per our orders online. Multiple times they are “out of bread”. What? This is a grocery store and should be able to keep up with making bread in the dept! Today another round of ordering at 3:50pm for pickup at 4:45pm. Nope not even started at 5 pm and no white bread only wheat bread!?! Who is actually in charge of this free for all dept?I am sick and tired of trying to rely on this store (in particular) for dinner for my family and nothing is ready or the decency to call and notify a customer that they are out of REGULAR FOOD ITEMS LIKE BREAD. Completely disgusting how you are treated at a”high end” grocery store. This is the reason Wegmans will come in the area and CRUSH this store. I will happily accept a call from corporate, but none of these reviews are ever considered!Sad!

I always get treated like family when I come here, I'm always spoken to and given the best customer service. And the "cashier/ I've seen him doing everything" Earl always goes above and beyond to help everytime I see him! In my opinion he should definitely be up for a review and raise.

Harris teeter has always been a great store. Prices are average with deals facing supply and demand. Great location, not my top pick but closer to the nicer grocery stores we had in California.

Store is always clean! Produce is the freshest around! Love their meat specials! Staff is friendly and helpful! Love shopping at this Harris Teeter! If you watch the sales, you can get really good deals!

Consistently rude staff—from being openly scoffed at by 2 different employees for inquiring about the presence of hand baskets to being criticized for how I bag my own groceries. I recommend shopping at Publix a few minutes away or drive to the Cramerton location. Not worth patronizing this store. Selection is fine, store is fine (superior to Food Lion), but the staff at Publix is far more friendly and personable.

Ever since Kroger bought the company the inventory has diminished. For some reason they gutten the bakery for the fresh whole grain breads. Cut it down to half. And every other time we do the home shopping they're completely out of anything we used to get. Granted, you can't always get exactly what you want but this is different. Much of the time they're completely cleared out and that is in the morning on a weekday when the bakery should be stocked up. Really going downhill.

I like this Harris teeter because I can get some of my medicine for a lot cheaper than at other places. It has a Starbucks inside and is very convenient, it should be though because everything else is expensive

I have bought their sticky buns twice, and both times, they tasted moldy when I tried to eat them. The first time, I took them back and received my money back. The second time, I just threw them away, never to buy them again at Harris Teeter. The date showed they were okay, so I don't know if they just put an updated sticker on them until they sell but never again. Or they used bad yeast. I normally purchase them at Food Lion, where I never had an issue with. Definitely will buy them there next time.
