Technicians Shawn and Brian came to my home in order to replace the cracked windshield on my camper. You could tell they knew what they were doing and got the job done efficiently and quickly. In addition, the company worked with my insurance to make the process simple and easy. I highly recommend this company and their technicians.

Leonard building & truck in Gastonia NC has been our go to for truck accessories. We recently had a spray liner on the truck bed done, a fold down topper, and window rain guards installed. For our camper we purchased a sway bar. The service and installation was top notch. We are very happy customers. I would highly recommend!

I had a busted driver side window, chipped windshield and I wanted both front windows tinted. They promised me several things that the technicians couldn’t do or didn’t do. Ordered wrong type of glass so I wasted a trip to their store. They did send their mobile techs to my house free of charge. They showed up late, didn’t have tint, said the chipped windshield couldn’t be fixed cause it was too big (I fixed it myself with a $12 kit from Amazon) and they didn’t hook up the door handle lever (which I handle to pull the door panel back off and fix myself). I gave 2 stars because price seemed fair. They are not the same Gaston Auto Glass that I used to work regularly with.

My front passenger door window was smashed in a few days ago in an attempt to steal my car but luckily the police had been notified and the teens who were going through my apartment complex were caught. I just had my window replaced today by Leonard’s Building & Truck Accessories this am and I’m very pleased with their service, staff and reasonable price. I recommend them highly.

Subaru would not pass inspection due to over tenting of the windows. Took the car to two different shops and was turned down at both. One shop recommended Gaston auto glass, so we gave them a call. They were very familiar with North Carolina’s requirements for inspection and informed us that only the two front windows of SUVs had to be corrected. They corrected the problem in a very timely and professional manner, and we were pleasantly surprised how affordable the job was. The vehicle then passed inspection. First inspection on this car since it was purchased last year. We had no idea this was going to be an issue. So glad that an auto glass was honest and helpful.

I had my window replaced at the end of September of 2023. I noticed a screw sticking through my door panel and I brought it back in to show what happened and they said they would get me a replacement door panel. I’ve been waiting for a door panel for the truck for 6 months due to back order. Once they received the door panel they never called me I’ve always had to call first. I had to call first to get them to ship it to me, once it was shipped I never received it or a tracking number and I can’t get a straight answer from nobody. Would not recommend this place for anything. It’s been 8 months going on 9 months now I still haven’t gotten my door panel or money for a new $800 door panel.
