Bought items yesterday, brought back for return/refund. Was told I could only exchange. I have the receipt, I did not use food stamps/ebt. The stuff is unopened, not damaged. Called dollar tree Franklin blvd, they said they will refund. If you’re going to have a no refund policy or exchange only, it should be printed on receipts, on doors & on the website. I personally feel like the manager just didn’t want to do the return. Like I said if it was a policy, it would be printed somewhere & it would be company wide, not just this specific dollar tree.

Service is usually good and the store is usually clean and stocked but the parking lot needs help...It's becoming a trash pit..ppl are throwing there trash all over the parking lot and it's not getting cleaned.. Please at least put some trash cans out!!!! Maybe it will help

Went to the store today & it was well organized, cleaned and honestly the best dollar tree in Gastonia! Spoke with the cashier and she told me its a team and they work hard and she thanked me for the comment and also introduced me to Mike one of the employers who she stated has been one of many to help keep the store clean, I told him the store looks great and keep up the great work!! Definitely My go to Dollar Tree

5-10-24Woman running the register was very rude and demanding the whole time during checkout. Some of her comments included telling me what to hand her, and when to hand it to her, insisting that I let her have the basket multiple times instead of allowing me to place it back. I eventually said. “ Sure no problem since you’re rudely insisting” she replied: “ Yes I am. It makes my job easier.” In reality, pulling the items out the basket yourself kinda makes the job harder!She was rude and unprofessional the whole time probably very unhappy with her job.I come to this location quite often, and I won’t tolerate her rude behavior again

I stopped by this location on 5/9/24 around 8:15pm and there were quite a few customers in the store. I only needed to grab a couple of things and when I got to the checkout I was 4th or 5th in line. During the time I was there, the only associate I saw was the lady at the checkout. Some of the customers ahead of me were frustrated and rude, probably because there was only one checkout lane open. By the time I was able to checkout, the line was backed up to the greeting card aisle. During this time the cashier was very friendly and even though some people were being jerks, she maintained a friendly composure. I asked her name because I wasn’t sure if it would be on the receipt. This lady’s name is Crystle and I told her thank you. She deserves more than that, especially since it was getting dark, the store was very busy and she appeared to be working alone. That is not a safe situation for anyone to work in, but I’m sure she was not alone and whoever was supposed to be assisting her was no where to be found. Maybe hiding out behind the two way office mirror, not sure, but also not right. Dollar Tree, you need to make sure your associates are safe and not working alone, especially at night. Crystle deserves so much better than the way she was treated tonight, and I only caught a glimpse of her shift. I hope you appreciate the employee that was there for your company and went above and beyond! Thank you Crystle!
