I’m beginning to think that one of the qualifications to work at DG is that you smoke. I just left the DG on Linwood rd, Gastonia nc and left what I was going to buy there. This isn’t the first time. There were 5 people in line in front of me with no cashier in sight. The other employee came up front then went all over the store calling for the other employee. Finally she went out front and got the key from the employee sitting on the bench smoking. I was running late for work and couldn’t wait any longer. I hate walking through cigarette smoke going in and coming out of your stores. It’s like that everywhere I go to a DG. There should be a rule on how many smoke breaks they get and how long they stay outside. Also they should not smoke at the entrance.

This used to be my go to place to shop. This store is not always very organized and certain products are not well stocked and sometimes hard to locate. For the most part the female associates are helpful. But there is a male associate with an accent - he is rude and not very helpful. For the reasons listed above I doubt that I will be shopping here often. Dissappointing.

I now know that April has been moved to this store. She has a beautiful personality and is so kind to her customers. I just hope that you know and appreciate the true Gem that she is and brings to your store. I will now drive across town to shop at Dollar General because of April!!Connie Ammons
