Today I had the best experience shopping that I've had anywhere in a really long time. Holly took care of me like I was her valued friend. You don't find many people like Holly anymore, that take the extra step of going above and beyond for customers!! In my opinion she is definitely up for a review and a raise!

They never answer the phone and I have waited on medicine for over four days . The whole bunch in the pharmacy is new and they are very nude. And some of my medicines didn’t count out right but they said I was wrong. People stay away from this cvs I no I have change mine.

Felt like I was a victim of racism. I came in to pick up my prescription and as I get to the register a young lady asks for my insurance card. I gave it to her and she immediately responds that I cannot use that card. This is the card that my Wife and I have always used. She then proceeds to snatch my prescription back away as if I were not worthy after that. I had the prescription transferred to Walmart immediately after I left and there were zero issues when I went and picked it up. They told me at Walmart the insurance card that I used was valid and very familiar amongst there staff. It was Blue Cross Blue Shield. I feel like the pharmaceutical rep at CVS turned me away out of internal hate and I am not going to let this slide.

Never never answer the phone. I end up having to drive to the location to check on my prescription and most the time they try to tell me they don’t have it in stock, but then it says it was filled online. Don’t go to this CVS unless you like headaches and horrible customer service.

Multiple times I had medication's from blood pressure medicine to anti-swelling for my knee replacement. Always having it for multiple days complaining they don't have enough staff and couldn't get around to filling the prescription. I would go anywhere else other than this pharmacy.

I would give this pharmacy a zero or negative number if I could. As other reviews state, they are terribly slow in pretty much everything and their only excuse is that they are shorthanded (with the same amount of staff most other pharmacies have). Expect 15+ minute pick ups for meds in store, forget the drive through, and don't even bother calling because you will be on hold indefinitely.

This is the single worst pharmacy I have ever dealt with. I actually do not know if they even hear the phone ringing, I have been put on hold for hours at a time. If you get anyone on the phone, they 'accidentally' hang up on you. There is only so much that can go wrong with blaming staffing issues. If you can't provide a service, do us all a favor and close. Do not send your prescription here and expect it actually filled. If I could give negative stars, this would be an ideal candidate.

As others have mentioned, the pharmacy experience is truly awful. Every interaction I've had has been bad. They are completely lacking in customer service skills, to the point of being rude and condescenfing. Service is also super slow. I am a reasonable and patient person, and I don't take negative reviews lightly. But after my most recent visit this evening, I couldn't NOT post a review. **To the digital team that monitors and manages online sentiment for CVS stores**: senior management needs to know that there are serios problems at this store (1803 S. New Hope Road in Gastonia). The pharmacy is toxic, it's damaging your reputation, and it's losing customers. I reached my threshold and will be moving my prescriptions and shopping to the Walgreens that's just down the road. The store employees have always been friendly and helpful - no issues there.

The is a very slow pharmacy!!They act like your time doesn’t matter. They have you waiting all the time at least 20 or more minutes.If you go to the drive thur window( which they should close down because no one ever comes) they have a recorded message telling you how under staff they are and you can wait or come inside. If you wait no one comes to the window and if you go inside you wait again.I have tried to stay with with pharmacy but I’m done.So if you need a prescription filled go somewhere else. They will kill your patience!!!!!

This pharmacy was the worst I’ve ever experienced. I was on hold for over 40 minutes for the pharmacist to find my son’s prescription and check our insurance. Then when she finally came back to the phone she was super rude. She kept talking over me and would not run my new insurance. She couldn’t give me an accurate price so I could be prepared. When I said this is the worst experience I’ve had with a pharmacy she said she’s never had a complaint from a customer before. Looking at the reviews I know this wasn’t a rare occurrence! I was so frustrated at this point I asked if the prescription was ready for pick up. She kept talking over me acting like she didn’t hear my question. Then she said I have to put you on hold again. She never came back to the phone! Completely gaslighting me over a life saving prescription. I called the store manager and he found my prescription and the cost within 4 minutes!! An hour on the phone with the pharmacist Shawna and this manager found it in a few minutes.

Do not use this pharmacy, they are short staff. Typical wait time on the phone is over an hour and medication is never ready when you go to pick it up; have to wait at least 30 minutes for meds. Corporate needs to do something about this!
