On September 30th my Doberman Pinscher, Keeva, was spayed by Dr. Goodwin. Not only did Dr. Goodwin go above and beyond for Keeva, her staff did as well. From ensuring Keeva would be calm and relaxed before arriving for the appt, excellent post op care, (additionally recommending the Suitical Suit for post op care), and calling to check-in with us later that evening and the next day to see how Keeva was doing. “I went in to get my fur baby up to date on vaccinations and also find out in detail about a dental cleaning for Princess. She is 5 y/o and had terrible separation anxiety. I also hate leaving her to be put in a cage. I know cleaning is needed to prevent further dental problems. I have been putting it off bc I didn't want us to be separated for a long period of time with her having a procedure done, waking up and I'm not there. She has never been held for hours in a kennel . I've also had a bad experience in Cary with the staff so now I just don't like leaving her.
Well TODAY WAS DIFFERENT BECAUSE OF A WONDERFUL NURSE NAMED DANIELLE. She was so nice and listened to every concern. She also knew Princess was nervous and even when she was growling Danielle was patient with her, sat down on the floor beside Princess, gave her treats and small pets to earn her trust.
She took the time to go over the full explanation of doing the dental cleaning and why it's important for them to be there for 3hrs. She also gave drop off options for us. At the end of our visit Princess accepted Danielle and I also learned she was one of the dental cleaners for Princess. Immediately I felt better about the whole thing. She will be the main reason I go
back to this Banfield. Danielle thank you for caring about your connections with your patients.I wish all vets had more people like Danielle. Thanks again for caring about the animals . I GIVE 5 STARS TO DANIELLE!!!??”
