I adopted my two guinea pigs from the SPCA Wake County in December 2019. The staff and volunteers were very friendly and helpful. They provided information on my guinea pigs' past and how they came to the shelter. It was clear they take great care of all their animals. I appreciated the thoroughness of the adoption process. The volunteer made sure to ask important questions regarding the card I planned to provide before making the adoption official. Overall, the process was wonderful and I am so thankful I chose adoption! My guinea pigs have brought such joy in my life. Would definitely recommend adopting from this shelter!

Was very well run and organized. I expected lots of small cages with sad animals. What I got was a very clean place, an immersive environment for the animals, and a lovely group of people to work with as I got the newest member of my family. Highly recommend.
