These days it's hard to find honest mechanics. I took my car in because it was making a noise I didn't recognize. They checked it out and concluded there was nothing wrong. When I picked it up they said there was no charge because they didn't do anything.

Before I checked out Quality Auto Service I was checking on what other name brand auto service centers offered but they were just the basic auto repair , then I drove to Quality Auto Service and had my trucked checked out and the transmission needed fixed and needed my oil and filters taken care of as well. That is why they are my local Truck service center when I need it taken care of no matter the cost I want a quality job done right

Terrible customer service. The multiple times I have been there the guy at the front desk has an attitude. Had a rear main seal fixed that is still leaking. I’ll never go back and would not recommend this place.

While on our trip down to Myrtle beach (from Philadelphia) we went over some debris in the road and started losing air in our tire. I got off at the nearest exit and found this place. I pulled in, asked the gentleman at the front if he could help a lady with a flat tire and he said sure and got me in and out in 20mins. I had a full car so we all got out, walked to cvs up the street and back and the car was done! Kids thought it was like magic. We got the tire plugged for only $25. The gentlemen was actually so nice if I was a local I would definitely be back to see him. I wish I had gotten his name, but I was so stressed I didn’t even ask. But he made a stressful situation painless. Thank you so much!

I had a headlight restoration done on my car this past week and I cant say enough great things about QAS. Before now I was struggling to see at night but now I feel like I can finally see more than two feet ahead of me! Richie was very kind and helpful and I know that I will definitely be back for all my car needs!

As a single female, finding trustworthy people to work on your car can be a challenge. I read the reviews about Quality Auto Service and decided to give them a try based on another single female who had a great experience. I'm so happy that I did! They listened when I called them and they actually worked hard to fit me in the same day because my car had broken down and I was without a car. I had the car towed there and they looked at it right away. They called to tell me the problem with the car. Turns out it was my alternator, which I had suspected. I asked them to please fix it. They got the part in right away and had it fixed and back to me the same day before they closed! My car is running now and I cannot express enough how much I appreciate these people for being so amazing and helpful! Definitely would recommend this business! Hands down, this is the best auto shop I have ever been to. They are honest, friendly & professional, and affordable. I drive 30+ miles from Durham to get my car fixed at Quality Auto Service, and I will continue to be their loyal customer. And these are the reasons why YOU should also consider them giving your business :) About 3 months ago, my AC stopped working on my 10-year-old Honda Civic when I was on a road trip. I made an emergency stop at a random auto shop to figure out what exactly was wrong. Once I figured out what the problem was and came back to Durham, I started calling multiple mechanics in the area to fix my AC. I received quotes on replacing condenser & dryer and evaporator expansion valve anywhere from $900 - $2000. After considering my finances and online reviews, I decided to go with Quality Auto Service. Not because they were on the cheaper side of the quote. It was because they were the only auto shop who told me and warned me that condenser and dryer come together and make sure no one tries to overcharge me on the two items. They were incredibly honest and did such a wonderful job on my car. To this day, my AC runs fantastic! Couple weeks ago, I had an airbag alarm came up on my car which eventually went out. Based on my mom's recommendation, I took my car to a dealership service center where they charged me $100 to diagnose and quoted me $2100 to fix my seatbelt / airbag sensors saying all 4 sensors in my car need to be replaced in order to fix the airbag alarm issue. It's not surprising I left the shop without fixing anything there... I returned to Quality Auto Service to see if they can give me a second opinion. They checked out my car with free of charge and told me that although there was a history of airbag alarm coming on, there is no issues with my airbag system, the weight sensors in my car work just fine, and I do not need to "fix" anything on my airbag system. I am so glad I found these guys - They are so honest and tell me exactly what I need to fix instead of trying to sell me unnecessary services. I will continue to come back for any car issues. I strongly recommend you give them a call to make an appointment for waiting or dropping off because they get booked up all the time!

I am from another state, but visit this area often. As a single female, finding trustworthy people to work on your car is risky. A friend recommended this place to me while I was in town. Richie and his crew treated me fairly and were very kind. I have traveled twice now for their service and intend to keep coming back!! And my car is driving great, haha!! ?Services: Oil change
