We just left Lowes without the installation at wanted. Seems the installation counter guy in the mornings hides to not work, doesn't answer his phone, and no one knows where he is at all. This was after a horrendous time of trying to buy a couple of toilets for over a month. Will never go to that store again.

I have a question, why does it take so long to get appliances delivered, particularly from the Lowe's in Garner NC? Several friends are having major issues with deliveries from this location and it's developed a major bad reputation that is circulating around. Someone in management may want to look into this.

I really hate it when companies force their employees to beg you to fill out surveys. It makes me uncomfortable and I will be less likely to spend money in your stores.

Just had a great visit there. Found employee (Dennis in paint dept) and he was able to point me in the right for for the item I was looking for. WASN'T where the in store app said it was. At the register in the garden dept. was friendly and helpful.

Have been refurbishing our home and purchased a bunch of items. this weekend got around to putting in our lights we came shopping over the weekend and purchased lights that we like better for more money. When I went to return the previous lights I purchased they told me my receipt was over 90 days and I couldn't return. I said well then can I just have a in-store credit and they told me no. We purchased everything from them, my husbands tools, everything even our appliances. So I called corporate and they told me sucks to be me and so I'm going to return the lights that I spent $250 on and keep the lights that I paid 154 and never shop at Lowe's again. They have lost a customer for life. The lights that I was returning is still on the shelf for sale today so there's no reason why they can't return the lights with my receipt. I may be contacting my credit card company and disputing. Do not recommend Lowe's home improvement. I could understand if I constantly return stuff without a receipt but I have never returned anything without a receipt. This is very very poor customer service. On their website it does not state you cannot return anything over 90 days it only stated there was a time limit on outdoor tools.

7/10/22: I AM LIVID!!!! So, please forgive me in advance for the length of this review. I just became a renter of a townhome in a newly constructed development. The owners gave me possession of the unit early with the understanding that the appliances (fridge, washer, and dryer) were going to be delivered today after Lowes FAILED to deliver them as scheduled on Friday. I was cool with that. The delivery time was between 12-4 pm. I got there ahead of time and unfortunately because the internet wasn't set up yet, we had nothing to do. So, I was really hoping they'd hurry up!!!! We sat there from 12-4 pm as we already agreed to do, but then the real drama started. They started with their excuses by telling the owners that they were running behind and would be there now between 4:30-5 pm. I was starving by this point, but ok. I continued to wait. It wasn't until 6:21 pm that my landlord texted stating that they were outside the home. UM, NO THEY WEREN'T!!! There is no one even living in this neighborhood yet. My car is the only one on the street & there was no Lowes truck anywhere to be found. My son & I went on the porch, in the rain, to look for them to come down the street. NOTHING! Then, all of a sudden, I saw a guy WALKING with a blue shirt that looked like he worked at Lowes & a gold sweater or something tied across his chest. He literally walked from a different street (Princess Anna Maria Way Lane - It's the very next street over), walked up to my street sign that clearly showed the correct street, and then he disappeared on foot. I took a picture of him because he was weird. While I was doing this, my landlord was on the phone with the driver who had the AUDACITY to tell him that he was at the correct house and would only wait 10 minutes before leaving. THE NERVE!!!! After I WASTED an entire 7+ hours waiting on THEM, how dare they give us 10 minutes when they were the ones at the wrong house. The owner said that the driver was about to call me, but he never did (of course). So, I took off around the corner to the house on Princess Anna Maria Lane & there was no sign of Lowes. They left way before the 10 minute limit they gave & I wasted hours on them. They probably left right after I saw dude in the blue shirt walk up to the CORRECT street sign and then disappear. They had no intentions of installing these appliances. My question is if I say that I live at 123 Main St., WHY TF WOULD YOU GO TO 123 Orange Ln. the next street over??????? The street signs should give you a clue of where you belong, and because THEY were in the wrong, they should've had to come back TODAY to get the job done. That would be too much like right though. Both of these streets are off of Pearl Rd. Again, common sense should've told them to read the signs to make sure they were at the right place & not just pay attention to the house number. A kindergartener could've followed the GPS better than them. The landlord called and spoke to someone at Lowes, and because they were practically closed, all they did was reschedule FOR A 3RD TIME!!!!!!!! I would have cancelled my order if I was him because they are unprofessional, unethical, and incompetent to say the least. They have no respect for other people's time, and they lack good time management skills. They told him they were running late and we were stop #17 when they were at their 15th stop. You know by that time, they were ready to call it quits for the day. So, they went to the wrong home knowing doggone well they were not on the correct street, pretended I wasn't there, and then took off. That is not cool & I will never do business with this store who employs idiots like this. I shouldn't have had to take pictures for proof just to show the world how stupid and lazy these people are. If you value your time, buy your appliances elsewhere if you need them delivered/installed!!!!!!!! Save yourself the headache and frustration.

The manager Brian here has turned this store around from this time last year, customer service here has improved a lot! So shout-out to him for what great leadership should look like, it shows!

This store is where customer service goes to die. Store associates have no knowledge of where any items are in the store and send you on a wild goose hunt To find it, and that's only if you can get any of them to pay you any attention. Also zero regard for catering to the needs of customers, as I was told I could not purchase a large appliance and come back later with my truck to pick it up. Had to take it right then because apparently the days of putting a sold sticker on and holding it for the customer are gone. I'd rather drive 20 minutes out of the way than to ever come back to this store.

Giant waste of time. Price match is a scam to bring you in store. Had 3 employees say "we dont do that anymore" but online states they do. Said they had to get a manager...watched manager help several people at self service register for 20 minutes...guess my $600 purchase was not important. Will shop elsewhere from now on. Lowes may not care until sales slow down...I have a long memory!

This store does not even deserve 1 star! VETERANS - Do not shop at this Lowe's store. The management will not honor the 10% discount which veterans are entitled to - even after I produced a copy of my DD-214. Clearly this store is mis-managed. There was only 1 "human cashier" although the line to check out at that register was long and many were impatient. I personally will never shop at this store again! Go to the Clayton Lowe's store. The staff is much friendlier and willingly accepts the DD-214 for the veteran's discount.

Once upon a time this was a quality Lowes Store! And now, most employees are just standing around, talking to each other, or staring off into space! Numerous new employees will not even attempt to help, wont even look at the customers! They are just lazy, obvious they think they are owed something from society, etc. Obviously, the hiring strategy that Lowes is using now is failing them! I predict this store will probably close unless they are start hiring some people that actually want to WORK ALITTLE! There are a few of the "older timers" that understood to have a job means an employee needs to put in a reasonable amount of effort! But, even some of their attitudes APPEAR TO BE CHANGING! This is sad, very sad, it was a great store once upon a time! The good news is this probably means more business for Hudson Hardware, Home Depot and others!

This happened back in May at the Lowe's in Garner, store #0488, and I didn't want to write about it at the time because I was pretty irritated and didn't think I could do a proper review at the time. I'll preface this by saying for my entire adult life I used Lowes as my primary home improvement, tool and hardware store. Every time I needed a tool, accessory, or commodity type supply (like sand paper, paint, etc) I went to lowes. I have not been back since this event and have spent about $6000 at home depot since then. I didn't visit home depot stores before this event. I was going through the home buying process during the beginning of the pandemic and closed and moved late April/Early May. There's always a project to be done in a new house so I went to lowes to get some supplies. I can't even remember what they were at the time because this event overshadowed the memories of what I was purchasing but it was relatively small because I didn't need a flat cart(total purchase was $124.86). Shopping went well as always and I found what I needed. I was there shopping with my daughter and her mother (my ex-wife) who we'll refer to as E going forward. E uses Samsung Pay to pay for almost every transaction as do I. Both of us have used this payment method at lowes for years and never had an issue other than occasionally having to scan it twice, until this event, which took place on May 8th 2020. The cashier (who later self identified as the manager of the store) immediately stated that won't work when E tried to use her phone for payment. This reaction alone isn't unusual becuase the technology is relatively new. The standard approach both of us use is to inform people, that it's Samsung Pay and it works everywhere a phyiscal card can be scanned, your card reader doesn't know the difference, or we can use NFC payment if your reader has that. Well this cashier wasn't having it and attempted to turn the screen away so E couldn't scan her phone. E turned the screen back and placed her phone in the proper position to scan, got the customary 'beep' sound of a successful scan and the cashier STRUCK E's hand to try and prevent her from completing the transaction. Luckily the transaction had already gone through, but apparently this wasn't enough for the cashier/manager as she shouted that they weren't going to get paid and we're happy as long as we got what we want. This was a very tense time in general socially due to the pandemic so I decided to avoid escalating the situation and we just left the store. I don't remember the cashier's name and the store website does not appear to list the name of the manager so I can't provide her name, but after having a few months to reflect and cool off, I do believe it's important that Lowes is aware of this behavior and takes action to resolve it. Your employee struck a customer's hand and if we had decided to we could have involved law enforcement as this is assault. You have a store manager who assaulted a customer out of her own ignorance and fear of new technology. I'll never buy another product from Lowes again due to her conduct. I hope Lowes takes action to correct this stain on their reputation before she causes even more people to abandon your brand and company. I would like this message to be escalated to a person in the company who has the appropriate power and oversight to address this situation and take appropriate action.

People walking around in this store with no masks on. I'd say about 30-40% of staff either wearing mask around their chin or neck! Like, y'all know they don't work that way, right? I had only one option for check-out lane and would be waiting behind two maskless dudes so I put my stuff down and left. Every other store I've been in during the pandemic has been far better at mask compliance. As a nurse it's insulting and shows this company doesn't care about the health of their customers or staff members.

Do not go to this Lowe's. I just stopped in to pick someone up and I'd say 50% of the people inside were not wearing masks despite a company policy and statewide mandate. A man coughed right in front of me in the main corridor near the cash registers without a care in the world, no mask and didn't even cover his mouth. Employees were completely unphased. So unfair to customers and other employees who don't want to get sick. This is the most uncomfortable I've felt inside any store since the pandemic began.

Do not buy your kitchen here. I would have given 0 stars if it were an option. The design was good professionally done and that's where it ended. Once they get your money you are forgotten. The install team did nothing. I became the project manager making all the calls coordinating the cabinet install company with the counter top company. They measured wrong so I get a call from Lowes that there was a up charge, mind you the only call I received in a month and for them wanting more money. I went in that night and paid the difference for the counter tops Lowes sat on it for nine days putting my countertops off for three more weeks. On top of that they forgot to order the scribe moulding which delayed the cabinets to be finished 3 weeks. What I have is a kitchen I've made 3 payments on and just cabinets screwed into the wall. Then I get a phone call from Lowes about a survey on how I like the kitchen not even knowing it's only half done. I go in to speak to install to have a manager call me still no call. It's like a 3 ring circus please do not use Lowes unless you like to do all the work yourself. Do not buy your kitchen here. I would have given 0 stars if it were an option.
