Had a great time here, The stylists who worked with me were super nice<33 and i would definitely go back to them again!!!! The only problem I had was slight communication. I had made an appointment a month in advance for a wedding i was attending but the original stylist who was going to color and style my hair didn’t work there anymore i guess. So then i got assigned a new stylist but the problem was she didn’t bleach and color locs. So When i showed up to my appointment i was cut off guard with the switch, but the manager at the shop handled everything well and we figured something out. I ended up getting all the services i wanted which was bleaching and coloring, a style and a retweet!!! I DO HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM???DEFINITELY WILL BE GOING BACK

7-9-2024: The negatives: if you do not have locs do not visit this establishment. I was charged $120 for shoulder length hair color and I have a teeny afro with a five week old texturizer. $25 consultation that went towards the $120…
7-23: I returned for a hair trim and wash for my afro, cost $108!!!! With a 25% discount of $35 from the color two weeks prior after speaking with the owner.
Positive: The stylists Ashley, Madame Dawn and the owner extremely personable l, professional, welcoming, , kind and caring with your Life issues.
I believe I was charged twice for loc service and can not afford a $52.50 hair wash and a $52.50 hair trim?
Make sure you ask the price for service that is where I failed and was surprised twice.

Ashley had been doing my hair for about 8 months! On June 5th my cousin looked at my hair and told me I had holds in my micro locs. I had asked Ashley why was my hair so full at the ends, and she told me it was because my hair is naturally curly. My cousin told me it was not true. She told me it was because my hair wasn't being re-twisted correctly. Now I'm having to spend more money to have my locs fixed. Pictures below are my hair getting repaired today.

It's unfortunate that I no longer go to this salon and the circumstances that made my final decision. I was a client for a year and I spent my hard earned money coming here. I have witnessed unprofessionalism, tardiness (me waiting almost an hour for the stylist to show up for a scheduled appt), rudeness and I could keep going but you get where I'm going. I have seen a high turnover rate throughout this year which I understand because when you have talent (you want your own money without the middleman). What I don't understand and will not tolerate is lack of communication especially when you know I have been on your books for six weeks. First off, you don't call the customer days before they are due to come in and "Tell" not ask that I have to reschedule my appt especially when you knew the stylist was injured weeks before. You also don't wait until I arrive to say - by the way...another stylist is doing my hair who never did it before. Their communication skills are awful and the environment is tense with some of the stylists clearly unhappy to come to work. You have some stylists who should go back home and re-evaluate if they are going to a club or to a shop to work and not a strip club. Yes I said it!! I am new to the area and love the stylist I had Tati and Abi. The receptionist needs training also- just terrible. You also @ Crown as a Manager should not publicly say "Oh well, I guess she won't get her hair done"!! I guess you just lost a great paying customer that will happily take these green bills elsewhere. This establishment clearly needs to evaluate how to run a business the correct way and stop treating some of your paid stylists and customers like second class citizens and unfairly.

I've been taking my nephew there for many months now. He loves AB. She does his locks shampoos and most of all connects with him. We have a great experience each time we go.

Sorry long post but worth it!
Yesterday started my micro loc journey. I am suffering with hair loss for various reasons. Mostly not taking care of my original locs properly. I’ve been stalking this salon on my runs and had the courage to go in finally. I’m from another state so I was fearful. However, the reviews for Crown was the reason I was stalking the shop! Crown looked at my hair on the spot. She invited me in like I was already a client-friend. Unlike a lot of shops where you can’t even walk in and just ask a question ?Not Crown, she took the time. She was welcoming, hospitable, gracious and kind. More importantly she was human. A LOC BOSS!! She gave me truth and knowledge to make an informed decision. We spent the best 2 days singing softly to the same songs and getting my new locs right. I started all over after 12 years and now she is my hair person …
From my time spent in the shop, any of these ladies can be your person. Crown is mine, so I booked my next appointment before I left !!
Cause another reviewer was right, They be BOOKED! Lastly, these are professionals and the price reflects that so keep that in mind…
Thank you Crown you turned a sad occasion into a loc celebration…I APPRECIATE YOU!!

I had a great experience this morning with the entire staff. Everyone was super friendly, easy going and most of all full of smiles. This was my first time coming here since living in the area. Meyahta was not only very knowledgeable but also my hair look and felt amazing. Also, not sure what the gentlemen's name was at the front desk, he was also very professional and welcoming. I for sure will be back. No questions asked.

I really like LN&M! They are so professional. Upon arrival I'm greeted. The check in process is easy and the reception is kind and accommodating. They are always improving product that they provide for the clients. I never have to wait for my appointment.
And best of all I found a Stylist I absolutely love, AB! AB, is attentive and professional. She's always checking to see if I'm comfortable or if my hair is too tight. She's young but a diligent stylist. I leave her chair feeling like she genuinely cared about me.
