I have a '93 Jeep Grand Cherokee with anti-theft. They're notorious for issues, causing the vehicle not to start, or more so, keep running (auto kill after a few seconds). The override (unlock with the key in the front door and the same for the hatch) didn't work. I had used Johnny's many years before with another oddball problem and they did their Houdini trick and fixed it (diagnosed the issue from years of experience and knowledge and solved it the same way). Same with the '93 Jeep. They put in a new fuse box for the anti-theft only (the port for the anti-theft was fried in the original, but only the anti-theft port) and set up a bypass wiring around the anti-theft, and voila! These guys know their stuff. It's a '93 Jeep... I wasn't going to pay an exorbitant amount to fix it (and I know somebody that will buy it for a fair price), but I did want to keep it if it was a reasonable amount to fix it. It was. I felt I had good communication throughout the repair. Not cheap, but very fair. Not the fastest, but very timely. I value those values. They know their stuff (I repeat myself). I wouldn't hesitate to contact them, yet again.

On side of road as I write this after paying them 1700 dollars and the electrical work taking 5 weeks and lie after lie why it wasn't done yet . All for 8 hours of work that was quoted at 4-6. Car died on me after I left shop yesterday and then I find out they swapped out my brand new battery with a refurbished battery thought that would do the job . Then today car stalled twice and once in the middle of the road. Jumped it twice today with brand new battery and still won't stay on and now windows won't go up so Yaya more electrical issues from water coming my way again. Thanks Johnnys your the best !!!

Having to take your car to the mechanic is never fun, but these folks clearly explained what was going on with my car and really gained my trust.
I gave 4 stars because I felt that the communication regarding my vehicle could have been more timely. Every minute counts when you're having to pay for a rental car. ?

I wish I could leave zero stars I have had items missing out of my vehicle when I got it back they’ve had my vehicle over a month to not fix the problem after I paid for it. I was told to come pick up my vehicle. It was ready. Got home 30 minutes late. Went to crank my vehicle and it wouldn’t start so they got the vehicle back saying it was a computer problem they said they tried three computers on it only for it not to work. Had it been a new computer and maybe would’ve worked they kept buying used computers after I done paid for the job to be done then they tell me that my vehicle is a old vehicle and they don’t make the parts anymore for a 2004 Cadillac Cts which is not true the vehicle is not that old and then the communication is definitely off. Nobody call me to let me know what was going on with my vehicle for them to pursue to do any work on it when you find out what’s going on with someone’s vehicle you call them and let them know before you proceed work in this case it didn’t happen anytime that I needed to find out, what was going on with my vehicle? I will have to call them The only thing that they offer me was half of my money back, which I felt like I should’ve got all my money back because nothing was done to my vehicle. They put back on my car and gave me half of my money which I felt was very unfair. I don’t recommend this place at all. And when I let them know, that items were missing, I got a sob story as homeless people live around the area. Maybe someone broke into it. No, this was an inside job because there was no force of entry whatsoever.so I picked my car up on Tuesday April 23 and today is April 25 and my car is not working……. Everything that y’all putting up here sounds good but it ain’t. It wasn’t just a gold necklace. What about my two screwdrivers and grip pliers that was definitely inside job cause it’s a shop ain’t no homeless people gonna take no grip, pliers and screwdrivers.

I like Chris but their prices is too high and somebody had been driving my mom's Chrysler 300 for their personal use....As I was cleaning it out today I found a cigarette butt in the door panel space and trash under the seat and the gas was driven out.....If I trust you to work on my vehicles I expect my stuff to be respected....This car was not like that when I took it up there and this is TOTALLY UNEXCEPTABLE!!!!!

Was sent here by an auto shop that couldn’t figure out my brake light issue. Once there they looked really busy initially, I was going to have to leave the car, but Chris came out and took a look at the issue and figured it out immediately. It was the wrong bulb that had been installed. He had it delivered within 15 minutes installed and everything worked great. Couldn’t imagine a better experience!

Told them my headlight switch doesn't work! They charged me $260 (1.5 hours of labor work!) and told me, yes you have to replace it. Now pay ~300 more (just labor not including the part) to replace it!

I found this amazing electrical shop in Raleigh, NC. I was having trouble with my car cutting off whole driving down the highway. I had no idea what the problem was, so I dropped it off at Johnny's Auto, and they solved the problem. I needed a new key and got my car reprogrammed. It's been driving perfectly since. Listen, if you are having electrical problems with your car, don't be afraid to take it to Johnny's Auto they are affordable, professional, and kind. I really love this business.

Johnny's Auto & Marine Electric was recommended to me by my local Triple A shop. Not only did they quote the work at an excellent price, but they also did quality work. I felt that the mechanics I spoke to were honest and had integrity, and they didn't try to upsell me other things for my car. I would definitely recommend them and return myself the next time I need great auto repair work done.
