We have used Garner Animal Hospital for over 30 years... always excellent care. We have two older "diva" dogs who they treat with kindness and caring. Would not go anywhere else.

They squeezed us in when my dog was sick and they are a great vet for yearly physicals. Two vets a man and a woman, both are great.

Beyond done with this animal hospital. Condescending front desk staff, unwilling to be helpful in any way. Refusing to speak with a manager or doctor to help resolve issues quickly. Paid for an exam due to sudden hair loss and old age/cancer concerns, the doctor didn’t do an exam of any kind except to comb for fleas. He called back with blood work results to say “your guys blood work came back great. Nothin to worry about.” And ended the call there. Dogs don’t loose hair for no reason. I went back and asked for an actual exam to be done since he didn’t look at any of the physical concerns I’d mentioned to the tech with him and offered no additional info in relation to the hair loss. The second Dr actually did the full nose to tail exam, looked at the blood work and concluded that because his thyroid levels are lower it’d be wise to start addressing potential thyroid issues. Then they proceed to try and charge me twice for the exam. Thank god their terminal glitched and payment couldn’t be processed, but even getting that sorted out has been a nightmare. I have asked thrice now to speak with a doctor to discuss not being charged for the second visit since it’s a result of a lack of diligence from the first doctors so called exam. And it’s been a week and a half and I’ve heard nothing. Their failed charge is still pending on my end for some reason but “sadly, payment needs to be collected today.”

Dr Edwards has been our Vet for years, through 5 fur babies. She and her team are always kind and helpful. They are reasonably priced and conveniently located.
I give her 11 stars, but Google only shows 5.

I've been taking my pets to GAH for well over 20 years. Dr. Edward's is kind and very patient, with both the pets and their owners. She takes the time to address all concerns and questions.I feel that their procedure pricing is reasonable and have never felt pressured to have unnecessary procedures done.They may not have a fancy building or the latest equipment, but I feel like they care deeply for all the pets they treat.

Even though we have been going there for years, they never seem to have room for an appt, they always refer us to the emergency clinic. Last week I was referred to the emergency clinic for an ear infection. Very disappointed, I won't waste anymore time calling them.

If you care about your pets, don’t use this vet! I used them for years and recently moved out of state. They refuse to send my pet records to me or my new vet. One of my pets had a health issue that Dr. Edwards never pointed out and I needed my dogs records to process. I have called several times and they said they would send them to me but never received. They will not deal with insurance in any way so I might as well cancel my policy. I’m so disappointed in them. They missed the fact that my pet had serious dental problems and was causing her to have bacterial infection. They don’t have any X-ray equipment or facilities to do anything except exams. The office has gotten really sleazy and smells. Don’t ignore this review. They are really a bad hospital. Don’t use them!
