The biggest issue I have with the Walmart in Garner at 4042 area is that they will not answer their phone. Twice now my online grocery order has gotten "hung up" somehow so that it's greatly delayed if not cancelled. It just gets hung up in the system. I cannot call them to get it cleared out so I can replace an order or ask for my money back or speak to someone to get an honest idea of how long the delay may be. I've tried calling the main number and I've tried calling the grocery number literally for hours . The only department that tends to answer for me is Bakery, They are kind enough to transfer me but no one answers again. This particular store management lacks the ability to just answer the phone and communicate with their loyal customers.

Went to visit this Walmart yesterday. Just wanted to buy a couple of things but added a few more items to my list and realized I should have taken a cart, We saw a cart standing in one lane with no one in sight. Thought we'll use it as we were almost done shopping but just needed an extra hand/ cart to carry everything to the checkout. Once we started to put the items into the cart I heard a staff member aproaching me from quite a distance. He told me to leave the cart as it was his and he was using it ( but he wasn't as we had made sure no one was before we started using it) I appologized and took our items out. After I realized that in any other store, the staff member would have wanted to help ( I was in Food Lion the other day and a staff member offered to bring me a 2nd cart to help with our shopping.. I was in Dollar tree a few weeks back and the staff were so helpful.. ) I went back to approach the staff member to get his name- Michael just waved me off like I was something the cat dragged in.. and walked off while I was talking to him. Still he wasn't using the cart but I as a customer was not allowed to use 'his cart' really bad customer service from Michael. He should go and learn from other stores staff members, what good customer service is,

yelp please stop posting hours incorrectly. the hours have been 7am to 10pm for over 2 years. we do not open until 7am. its on our website.. and its on google.

So it finnaly happened, online order placed in the morning, got a text saying it will be late, aprox at 2pm, this review is being write at 7 pm, no show. called walmart several times NO ANSWER, chat customer support, just said sorry i have NO INFO other than you might receive it later on, Called customer support, They said driver could not find the house , even that i receive hundreds of deliveries with no problem here, Dont know what to do, Walmart i am very dissapointed that you kept my order and could not resolve my situation. I like so many others who have discontinued shopping at the Clayton Walmart, am so pleased to shop at the hwy 42 Garner Walmart, and am now able to locate every single item on my list. The store is always bright, clean, and well stocked. The employees are friendly and helpful.

Fraud and theft!!!!! I never received my order and I canceled it, then 3 days later they tell me if was delivered, when I NEVER received the order!

Rude customer service. As someone who has worked in customer service for years you know when there is a lack of respect and care for your job, and it showed on all three of the people I asked for help today. Of course I didn't expect much, it is a Walmart after all. But a little human decency would be nice.

The store inside is great, however, curbside pickup is no good. They take way too long. Only one person comes out at a time. People who show up after you are loaded up. They'll keep telling you to wait, but waiting 30+ minutes is not cool.

Nothing but issues with pick up grocery service. Missing and damaged items-managers never call you back-hold put on your card and no refund of changes when final amount is different. Not just a one time event this review is from several instances and now I am looking for a new place to use. Outright theft and they prevent you from being able to rectify it.

The store itself if great. Line was quick to get inside, everything was set up well. My issues was with my cashier. I saw her take off her mask multiple times, touch her face, and everything around her quite a few times before she check me out. While checking me out there was an issues with a tag, I offered to go get an item with a tag because she was taking awhile to find the number on the tag, which is fine. The problem was when I asked her to wear her mask. She argued with me that the 6ft rule was more important and that the mask didn't do anything. I asked her to please put on her mask, as she was breathing and touching all my item(i saw her touch her face multiple times). She continued to argue with me and finished the transaction without her mask. They require you to wear a mask to get into the store but don't care if their employees wear them. Even when asked politely they proceed to argue with you. She it not only putting herself a risk but every person she checks out and interacts with. Lets not forget the multiple complains she voiced about how long her line was. Unprofessional and dangerous

My big complaint is the electric carts for disabled run out of energy after 10 minutes in the store. Have to change carts 2-3 times a shopping trip!! ‼They need new long life batteries ‼... I don't have this problem at Target, Food Lion, or other stores! Please fix the carts!!! ‼ The employees are great here, though.

After 30 minutes of pharmacy not answering the phone, they finally did, but they said nothing and hung up immediately. UNCARING & RUDE !!!

Cannot stand having to scan my own groceries. Cashiers have severe body odor. My groceries are always mixed up. Cold with non-cold. Not smart.
