Sigh. My experience obviously doesn't reflect on the whole salon, but I had a pretty bad one. I think it was the owner who was my technician, David i believe his name was. My nails turned out, not even decent. There was hair in the polish, smudges, the nails were uneven and not the shape I asked for, I'll attach the reference photo (it's the only one in which the nails look half decent). I wasn't expecting prefection, but this was not even close to good. During drilling, he hit the skin by my cuticle, and I stayed bleeding, although not a lot my fingers/ nails still hurt. This was the day before my prom, so it was pretty devastating to have this happen. I should've spoken up at the time to be fair, but as a nail technician, I'm sure he knew the quality was terrible. Overpriced, bad results.

It’s been four years of AMAZING service. They are called “ Number One Nails ? “ for a reason. The owners, staff, and clients are very welcoming and family oriented. The customer service is top tier. They specialize in SNS powder and this product has strengthened and grown out my nails so much. Their selection of SNS powder is also endless. Due to the building of new housing developments and the large amount of people who have moved in our area, they have become very busy so I do recommend making an appointment.

OUCH! Was hoping for a relaxing experience pedicure was ok .When she applied nail tips on my fingers she put extremely tight rubber band clamps on each finger and they were extremely painful .I was almost in tears. My fingers were very sore for the rest of the day. The owner was rude as well. Not a pleasant experience or a welcoming salon.

Been coming here since I was 14 so loyal customer. They do a fantastic job! To the folks giving bad reviews regarding being a walk-in, even if they had sat you, there are more appointments right after they finish the one so while all the pedicure bowls may be empty, their staff is literally all tied down doing manicures with an appt one after the other. It’s because they have such a packed schedule as to why they often can’t take walk ins! Try scheduling an appt next time and give them a try :)

I would have to agree with Luann's review. The owner is rude and his demeanor makes customers feel very unwelcomed. The tone of the salon feels unwelcoming.
Not to mention me and my 5 year old got a polish change and they charged me $17 for her little nails because she wanted 5 different colors on her toes. Really?!
The woman that did my toes, removed my nail polish, sprayed my toes down with water, scrubbed them, and even filed my nails and when I asked her to remove a little piece of skin on the side of my big toe she told me that I didn't get a pedicure.
I was really confused because she did all that but couldn't remove a piece of skin.
That was our first and definitely our last time there.

Pre written statement of my experience at #1 nail I've been a customer/client for almost two years. I have always scheduled my appointments a month in advance. loved the staff and especially my nail tech. I wax recently contacted by my nail tech to tell me "someone", moved me from my original appointment set a month prior and she needed to reschedule me. I scheduled the day before and the time scheduled cut into a virtual on going I have had since Covid. I schedule in advance for a reason how to plan my time and things that needed to get done. I get there and it's unusually crowded. My nail tech comes over and says she can't get to me do another 40 minutes! I was already feeling some type of way due to having to reschedule, but now you want to mess with more of my time. The owner asks "she doesn't want to wait "? I told the tech she should had called and the owner lied and says they tried to call told the tech she should had called and the owner lied and says they tried to call me! Ironically I had no missed calls from them or my tech. I left and will notice spend money at an establishment that does not value me or my time. Being a Disabled Veteran this a reminder of how we are over looked.

I gotta say I'm continually impressed by David's ability to do great designs on my nails! Don't believe me? Take a look at these pictures! The man is amazing, but then again all the nail techs at Number One Nails are!! If you want a great salon, look no further and call for an appointment ASAP!

I recently visited this salon for what I hoped would be a relaxing nail treatment. Unfortunately, my experience left much to be desired. From the moment I walked in, it was evident that the owner's attitude towards customers without appointments was less than welcoming.
It was disheartening to witness the owner's consistent rudeness towards every customer who entered without a prior booking. Their demeanor was curt, dismissive, and downright unwelcoming. Instead of addressing customers' inquiries or suggesting alternative solutions, the owner seemed to make it clear that accommodating walk-ins was an inconvenience.
While I understand that appointments can help manage the salon's schedule and avoid overcrowding, the complete lack of professionalism and courtesy towards those who hadn't pre-booked was truly disappointing. As someone who has frequented various nail salons, I believe that a successful business is built on providing excellent customer service to all patrons, regardless of their appointment status.
It's essential for a nail salon to create a warm and inviting atmosphere where customers can feel valued and relaxed. Unfortunately, my visit to Number One Nails left me feeling anything but pampered. I hope that the management takes this feedback constructively and works towards creating a more welcoming environment for all customers in the future, or simply put a sign on the door stating that you do not accommodate walk-ins.

Number one nails truly is the best.
I was in need of a manicure for prom and was referred here by a friend. I called around 4pm looking to book an appointment for sns. Lucky for me they had an opening for 3pm the very next day. I was impressed with this aspect alone given I called less than 24 hours in advance of when I needed it done. I arrived and was immediately greeted by the friendly staff and told to go ahead and choose colors for my manicure. Within 10 minutes I was seated and the process began. My nail tech did a phenomenal job, I showed her photos of what I was looking for and she gave me exactly that. She took time and care throughout each step of the process to make my nails even, precise and overall gorgeous. I’m beyond happy with the end result and the pricing was very reasonable. This was my first time ever having my nails done and it was great. I highly recommend Number One Nails to anyone in search of a good salon!

Went in over the weekend as a walk in asking for a pedicure for my mom. I was asked if I had an appointment to which I replied no. (Please note that all the pedi bowls were unoccupied.) I was told that they were full and could not accommodate her. I said all the bowls are empty , the reply was but my people are all busy.. yes.. doing manicures , agreed. But, the water could have been started and she could have soaked and waited.. there were 6-8 mani's being done. Someone would have finished in a decent amount of time.I get a pedi every 3 -4 weeks and always do walk in, there may be a little wait but that is ok.Apparently they just didn't want to do it.We found a place that took mom and we will be using them from now on.
