I have to agree with the negative reviews. This is the worst CVS location that I have ever experienced. I have lived in Baltimore, Charlottesville and Navarre, FL before relocating to the Fuquay area. Never had an issue with my prescriptions until this location. After two years of hell, I have finally reached my breaking point and am transferring my prescriptions to a different location. I was notified last Thursday that my prescription was ready (after I had waited 3 weeks) went to pick up and of course it wasn't ready. When I transferred my Lupron prescription to them from Walgreens, it was a month of hell to get it approved through their specialty pharmacy. Complete different experience from when I had the same medication filled with Walgreens.
I went to Urgent Care in May, it took a week for them to full my steroid prescription.
I will run out of words describing how poorly this location operates.

This is the absolute worst pharmacy ever!! Tried to transfer a prescription to them and 2 days later, still wasn’t in the system. Spoke to an associate and she said that she never saw it. I told them I’d just keep it at my current pharmacy. Tried to pick it up there and CVS had called and transferred it without my permission! Worst worst worst pharmacy ever! There are too many pharmacies in the area to go there.

This pharmacy is trash and so I moved. Save yourself the headache of dealing with rude pharmacy techs and go elsewhere.

Update your hours. It could be very inconvenient for someone to be sick and coming to your store for medicine assuming you are open based on your hours shown

I just got done at the urgent care that was in garner and somehow my medicine still wasn’t ready at this cvs.i shouldn’t have to repeat myself three times my date of birth like what? Pay attention. The lady at the window don't even look at you but yet wants to say date of birth like i already didn’t give it to her but to go around the building and they will just start on my medicine??? Why wasn’t it already done??? This pharmacy has definitely gone downhill. I will definitely not be coming back here anymore.

This location is routinely understaffed and shut down the drive through when it gets busy. Do yourself a huge favor and to to Fuquay Pharmacy nearby

The manager of the prescription part of the Fuquay-Varina CVS , is not doing g his/ her job . I'm 87 yes. Old and this is the first time , trying to get prescriptions transferred from another non CVS , due to change in meds insurance , has been a nightmare. I realize , there may be a shortage of help , but there is no excuse for rudeness . When I asked for a certain drug , I was told they were out of this med , and because there was a long waiting list for this drug , I should look elsewhere. All this said in a disgusting tone . Thanks CVS for making me get out my car when I was at the drive-through. Trying to pick up my prescription to have my insurance changed just for you not to actually change my insurance when I asked you to do it and now I had to pay for the actual prescription out-of-pocket thanks CVS Great customer service.
P S. Thank you for saying it would only take 10 minutes to get my prescription filled. It took three hours.

CVS was fabulous! The employees were very helpful and informative. They had exactly what I came in for. Someone is always there to help in the self service line… which can be such a pain… cough cough Walmart. The shelfs are always backed and there are plenty of options at this location. The prices are decent. But you get insane awesome coupons ALL the time. The parking is amazing and they even have a spot for parents with little kids.. which I greatly appreciate!!! There are two entryways into CVS making it easy to enter and exit!

If you are a commercial driver needing a DOT physical done, avoid this place like the plague if you have any problems with blood pressure. I came in simply to get my Blood pressure documented so it would be there for my DOT physical a few days from now. The "professional" on duty acted like she had no idea what I was talking about and basically just gave me every excuse she could come up with to NOT help me. I just need my blood pressure taken and documented for an upcoming physical. That was it. Its actually quite common to do this is your blood pressure is borderline or to avoid just having a bad day the day of the physical appointment. Clinic is very busy, seems under staffed and seems to be generally under trained. DOT physicals can cost a commercial driver their job. The medical "professional" on duty seemed generally dismissive. My blood pressure sky rocketed as I sat for over an hour just trying to get it documented. Complete waste of time. Just g to the fire department if you need it only documented. Physicals are over priced as well. Save yourself time and money. Go somewhere that cares.

This Pharmacy I would avoid. The Pharmacy is in constant chaos is impossible to get anyone to answer the telephone ever. God forbid you have an emergency or important question about your medication‘s. The only way to speak to the pharmacist is to drive to the store always shortstaffed.

There is slow and then there is ridiculous. I had meds that were called in on a Thursday. They told me they would not be ready until Friday. It is now Monday they are not ready and supposedly now they’re being expedited. I think people just did not do their job and they’re trying to pass it off Slowwwwwww all the time. So far 30 minutes in the drive thru to grab meds. Inside you will wait as well. Not sure if them or too many people or not enough staff but don’t think you’ll be done fast
Edit: Just like most of NC right now there are wayyyyyy too many people moving here so these places are getting overwhelmed with staff for the size these towns were. Understand that until things adjust in months to years find another place to live or accept there will be some time to adjust to the flood of people cars etc
