We have trusted Acadqmy East with our three old rescued cats- one is still with us at age 18. Based on past experience this practice is pricy. But we have always been well served and pleased with the health care of our fur girls.

Dr Ward and staff are wonderful with my babies. I have a senior baby and they are so friendly and sweet to him. My younger baby had to have heartworm treatment and Dr Ward called me every day with updates when she was in the hospital. I trust them with both of my babies.

Our fur baby Romi absolutely LOVES Dr Hampton. If it wasn't for Dr H's loving approach & full attention to every possible detail of her illness at the time I don't know if she would still be with us today. Her collaboration with other know professionals outside of her office helped deduce what the root cause of illness was and treatment started immediately. She's kind, attentive & loves her patients as if they were her own. The STAFF at reception & techs are fabulous & always eager to help. Take your pets to Academy East Vet, you won't be dissatisfied.

I love Academy East, everyone there is wonderful, from the front desk to the assistants to the veterinarian. My German Shepherd is like my child, and I'm very picky as to who takes care of my baby. I couldn't ask for a better place or better people.

All the vets we have seen here are great and we love that they are AAHA accredited. We also had a last minute emergency and they did a great job fitting us in same day.

Before moving to the area, I made sure we chose a vet and set up appointments for soon after we arrived. What led me to choose Academy East was that they've been in business for a long time, have multiple doctors, and have positive reviews that spoke to me about the caring doctors and staff. Everyone at the front desk and Dr. Bray and the technician were so kind and understanding when our female kitty's first appointment ended up being a euthanasia. And Dr. Slaughter and her technician were also really caring and informative with our male kitty's exam the next week and discussing options for his care. I feel very thankful and comfortable for our new vet home here.
UPDATE
2 years later, we are again pet parents after adopting 3 rescue kitties. Dr Slaughter has helped us get all 3 cats established with vaccinations, food, and a care plan. We are very happy with the care, communication, and interactions with the doctors and staff at Academy East Vet, and often recommend them to others.

Love love love the vets at Academy!!!! I called them at 5:00 when they close at 5:30, with an emergency. They were glad to work me in and stayed late for me. Thx so much!!!
