It's okay. It is food lion. But they can use a slight remodel or sprucing up.

I like this food lion. They have all of the basic items I need. It's never been super crowded when I've been. Staff has always been helpful. Better prices than Harris Teeter, thought not as much variety. Ok by me. ABC store next door. Easy shopping center to get in and out of. It's an older store. Bathrooms have been clean when I've used them. Some Food Lion's are "creepy", like the one in mini city, Raleigh, this one is not creepy. It's clean, food is fresh and staff is friendly. I feel safe shopping here.

Meh. It’s Franklinton so there’s not much choice.

It’s the oldest one so it’s more run down than the others. We only shop here if we need something quick because it’s close.

The foodlion itself is very decent and I've only had good interactions with the employees.

What can I say? Franklinton Square shopping center has everything you'd want out of a local highway shopping center. Plus as a wildcard, the funnel cake guy might be there. 10/10

I remember how happy everybody was to have a grocery store within 4 to 5 miles of their home! Over the years they've gotten a little bit slack on cleanliness and having the shelves stocked. My recent Monday visit had more empty shelves (I mean what grocery store has no lettuce or celery? Add Depleted stores of frozen vegetables and even pastas?)than even during covid restrictions. At least most people stay masked as well as the employees. I was told trucks come in 3 times a week but honestly I'm not so sure they aren't taking it back out or not unloading it!
